    I see many great suggestions from people here for future mods for the Institute, However the quest system in Fallout 4 drives me nuts, some things that should work don't, even if you duplicate a quest from scratch you can end up with a non-working quest. I myself would have to spend a ton of time studying up on the whole quest system to get many of these things working, though I would love to see some of the suggestions (that would involve using quests) I'm probably not the best choice for that. Hopefully some modder who is proficient in the quest system will see these and want to do some of them.

    I kept seeing alot of requests from people for the institute to be restored, or some sort of alternate ending so that they didn't have to blow up the institute, some of them dating back to almost when the game came out.It's what fueled my interest in doing it. I couldn't see why someone hadn't done it already, thinking that perhaps there was something that stopped them that was hard coded, but after searching and searching, and making many many notes, I didn't find anything that would stop anyone, so I started working on it and writing the coding needed to get it functioning.

    There are some minor voice glitches for 'random' conversations, aka, Arthur Maxon at the end will keep saying 'we have to get to the reactor and plant the bomb' until you head to the prydwen after completing the quest. But I figured those were some minor inconvences that could be lived with for those who wanted to keep all 3 factions friendly to themselves.

    I like the idea of turning the faction your with hostile toward you after disarming the bomb, I'll look into making that a possible ending selection, I don't think that would be too hard to do from where it stands right now.

    Fast travel to the institute and CIT is possible if you leave the insitute intact, or restore the institute on a existing game. If you managed to play through without getting the institute fast travel location in your playthrough (yes its possible) you will be given the map marker for the institute.

    Latest Update - 0.2Beta

    There are two versions of the latest beta uploaded, a Ba2 and Loose. The Ba2 version contains all the scripts within a Ba2 Archive, the Loose Version containes all the scripts as loose files.

    There was a naming issue with the previous version that prevented the scripts in the Ba2 version to open, I had made a typo in the ESP name (insitute instead of institute) so the Ba2 was ignored, this has thus been corrected.I recommend Uninstalling the previous verision before installing the new version to prevent the chance of any problems with the ESP & BA2 / Loose Files.

    When loading a save from the previous version it will tell you 'are you sure you want to load this save, your missing insitute-altending.esp', just tell it okay, the name of the ESP has been corrected, but all the data for the ESP remains the same so any saved data will still be accessed.No worries about a dirty save.

    The newer version has several changes made to it, You no longer have to have the end of mission conversations when disarming the bomb, You can choose several different options for a ending depending on how you want to play as well, Disarming and keeping everyone happy, disarming and becoming enemies with the attacking faction, or misdirection - the bomb goes off but only blows up the CIT Ruins.

    Thanks to the users who reported the problems with the scripts not loading, and to the other users for the suggestions for changes to the end of game.

    Can you bring back the opportunity to take X6-88 as a companion again? I did not destroy the Institute, but I can no longer take X6-88 as a companion.

    how about convincing father to step down as director of the institute and take over the institute

    How about making this compatible with danse dilemma mod and Father Companion - Alternate Ending Option for Fallout 4 . Just imagine You become general of the minutemen, Challenge maxson for leadership  ally them with rail road. Then take over the institute all factions teamed up. I dont see a single mod that does this if there is by all means show me. Yes maxson can be replaced with a synth but danse cant be your ally nor can you become the boss of the brotherhood.

    Holotape not in inventory after destroying the institute...Can't restore it. Any help would be great!!!!

    I finally got around to trying out this mod. So far I like it, for the most part. It's kind of frustrating that I have to take the elevator every time I go back. Is there any way to get the teleport point back?

    Also, having the synths move the bomb is problematic. I tried it and when I returned to the Railroad, Desdemona got pissed and attacked me. Went on about killing all the synths and getting justice. Whole railroad turned hostile. So I went back and just blew the Institute up followed by using the holotape. I will say that came with one upside: CIT ruins were restored above ground.

    Can we disarm the bomb and stay allies with the brotherhood if we make the mission with them or you will be automaticaly become ennemy ?

    I'm having a weird issue in this new playgame.

    I've ended the Nuclear Option siding with the Minutemen after being banished from the Institute, failing Underground Undercover. I'd choose the Misdirection option and everything went ok execpt for the fact that Desdemona hates me and if I talk to her she automatically calls me monster because I've killed all synths, and then all the Railroad attacks me.

    Is this how the Misdirection option is supposed to work? Does it happened to anybody else?

    Do you recommend me to just blow up the institute and then restore it? The first time I used the mod was after having already blowned the institute and didn't have this issue.

    EDIT:

    I respond here to myself in case anybody wants to know. Yes, Misdirection option makes Desdemona hate you because all synth died when moving the bomb so you end fighting the railroad and killing them all.

    I'd reloaded a save to just blow the institute and restored it later and everything was fine with every faction.

    If I go into the Institute after the bomb is dismantled and summon the Brotherhood, do the Institute people antagonize the Brotherhood?
