Hi there, please i will ask to the comments be about the mod only, and if the mod dont fit your tastes please i beg you just leave i dont want bad comments here. and if the download is not working is because the nexus is getting time to upload, then try downloading manualy.
all the files are nmm compatible.
and please the Main page have all the informations you need. i will updating in accord im getting feedbacks.
and before someone asks why i dont merge this mod with my current ones, is because the only way to do this mod work is changing both faces at same time, so i cant made a female or male separated, and this is why i had to do a new mod, and will be more easy to control and edit for future updates.
about images uploads, please have in mind that this mod is not an adult mod, so please dont upload afult images. thanks
and this mod gives alot of work to do, so if you like this mod please remember to come back and
Uploaded a optional File from my older Real Male and Real Female textures, its more Vanilla frindly. within time i will upload more optionals for faces that i created before.
Uploaded a small update to add the Face paints from Far Harbor DLC
Uploaded some missing files that was responsable to make some black faces, if you found any more face parts taht you try, as blemishes, makeup etc.. and dont work letme know here, and i will fix. its many files to work over, so even trying to make sure none was missing, things like that can happen.
Updating a status from the fps drops and freezing.
After testing for hours i will tell what happened to causes fps down and freezes to me, my specs are:
i5-2310 2.90GHz 8GB RAM R7-360 2GB XFX
and the mods that caused me the problems while using this mod, was any Settler mod that made them use the characters face, ex: better settlers or Hot Mama Settlers, even in the new game with no settlers at all, after a time playing the fps freezes starts, i cant figure out a way to fix that, i believe is a engine problem, more than a machinne specs, but i noticied that is not for all this problem, i know few users that uses them togheter with no problem at all, but they machines are high end, so this may help in thi case. im using with no problem npcs replacers, like the http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17885/? from the beggining and companions rplacers in general and this causes no problems to me.
Please have in mind that this mod will increase the textures of all face parts so this will have incompatibilties unless you do as the description says and you will get black faces etc.. to avoid that i really recommend to have installed the requiremment and follow the instruction to fix it.
im playing with this mod since i created him, and trying to improve the face while playing, but once most of the F04 community dont care much about HD characters in this game, unless is a nude body and since most users and will keep using the Vanilla faces or the ones alike, i see no reason to upgrade this mod unless i really get the mood, so from now on this mod is and will be let like he is.
For everyone else, packing the files to ba2 does the trick. My setup is i7 4790, r9 fury X, 16 ram, SSD, and this mod was causing severe stutter in the game, no problem after packing. I am also using this with Hi Poly face (kudos for the author who gave me the suggestion, i wasn't checking this mod page recently) and maybe my fps is low because of high end ENB + 600 mods :p
* What i did: packed both Real HD 2K tints and LMCC 2K patch in one ba2 file, but not face texture.
Why not the face? Because i am using the old R.F. textures that comes with face tex too, and loose files wins onver ba2, so to ensure that the face texture was 2K, i left them loose.
* How?
Have everything you want to put inside the ba2 in a separate folder. You can add whatever you want, but let's keep it short: Real HD Main file + Update Files (and Real HD Face Texture Main FIle IF YOU ARE SURE NO OTHER MODS HAVE LOOSE FACE TEXTURE FILES) + LMCC 2K patch (not the HD DLC). Of course LMCC is only if you use it... but i guess why not.
edit: you must have the Creation Kit before...
Open game folder. Go to Tools/Archive2 and open ARchive2.exe.
- File>New - Format: DDS - OK
- Archive: Add Folder (or files). Just select the folder (or files) that you had previously separated.
- Save As... for now, you can choose any name you want.
Now you have your ba2 archive. To load it in your game, it must be attached to any esp. You DON'T need to create a new just for this. In this case, i just named it after LMCC. It MUST be named as the esp file with '- Textures' in the end. So, for the example, my ba2 was named
LooksMenu Customization Compendium - Textures.ba2
If you want to create a new esp just for this, you can go to Fo4Edit, select to Create a new esp, leave it empty, then name your ba2 after it. (FYI, if you want to pack meshes, scripts and whatever, in Archive2 select General and the ba2 name must end with '- Main'.)
---- Now that you created your ba2 for the HD file, you MUST remove LMCC textures folder. They are loose files for the non HD version, they can't be in your game or you'll have brown face. Using Mod Organizer makes all this really easy to do, but if you use NMM you may want to extract LMCC elsewhere and take only the esp and f4se folders and manually install them to the Data folder.
Another important thing to do:
Edit the f4ee.ini file from Looksmenu (f4se/Plugins), search for the lines uTintWidth= and uTintHeight= and change them to 2048.
This should do. If you want to use non-supported tint mods, you will need to upscale them to 2048 yourself. There is a tool here on Nexus for the HD dlc and it may work, i never tested (Nexus ID: 21956). I guess you'll need to search for mods that add new npcs if they have patches for 2K, like Unique NPCs.
This is easy to be done and creating ba2 for your textures is the best way to get some more performance in your game.
edit: This guide should cover how to do it: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Archive2 (also i just discovered that you need CK to have the Archive2.exe, sorry)
Sorry for the long post but i thought it would be nice to post it here to help people use this amazing mod. Avallonkao's textures are, IMO, the best (the reason i still use the old RF ones lol)
Do I need to put the "real face 2k with lmcc" folder with LooksMenu Customization Compendium - Textures.ba2, right? or do I need to remove the materials and textures inside the folder? Sorry, I'm just so confused.
Also, can we have the Real Textures ba2 updated file for future use?
Hehe it probably is confusing as hell, sorry. Inside a "- Texture.ba2" you only put DDS files, or Textures folder. Materials, meshes, scripts and others go to "- Main.ba2". So, you only need to get the textures folder from both the Real HD Main File and LMCC 2K patch to make the ba2, and remember to take away the loose files from each mods. These are the tints that probably makes the video card cry, and the game stutter, or whatever happens. As i said, i am using the Real HD Face Textures as loose files without problems! But i also use Unique NPCs and some npcs may be in low res because of said mod. I started making the 1024 files to 2048 to see if this way i can fix the brown face some of the npcs now have in my game.
And it is all up to Avallonkao... If he/she decides to upload or allow us to upload a ba2 of this mod... Of course we would need permission from the authors from LMCC also. Let's see. But it would be good if others would say that it really works and helps improve performance of if it's 'random'
Someone please sticky this guy's post because he solved a bug that was driving me crazy. Kudos given.
EDIT: I had to package the face textures from FSM into the archive too, because if I didn't, my game instantly froze at character creation when I tried to switch to female.
Hey everyone, Avallonkao gave me permission to upload the ba2 files, so i made a new page on nexus and even 'upgraded' my tutorial, which is focused on LMCC now (because permissions). There is also a note on Unique NPCs and 2K files.
Here it is: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36376
Ok, performance is good on 2K. Looks awesome. However, its absolutely neccesary to upscale all makeup, lips textures etc to 2K otherwise there will be brown face bug.
Really nice addition to High Poly Faces, X-Cell + Facegen generator.
If you install the Mod "as is" you get massive stutters on start and while playing in FOLON. Took me now around 4 hours to figure out this was the culprit, most likely need to be installed diffrently (i used MO2) just a heads up.
Yeah because it's loose files which F4 doesn't like, this is the ba2 version of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36376 You probably want to download the middle file it has everything you need. ;)
You should mention that this mod is not compatible with CBBE presets. It completely messes up facial textures, so that my character with pale skin suddenly gets an extremely tanned brown face. Looks awful and took me about 3 hours to find out, that this useless facial texture mod causes it.
Seriously guys - if you plan on using CBBE, DO NOT USE THIS MOD!
This is the only good male face mod I like but for the female I still use CBBE, if I were to remove all the files for the females would this mod work as a male only retexture?
CBBE only effects the body while this effects the face and head, dont worry as they are completely separate textures so they work out of the box same with EVB and an other body mod
it will break your game files giving you the brown face bug no matter what you do causing you to have to do a full reinstall of everything! 6 hours work gone cuz i tried to install this piece of shit. if you can uninstall it and not get the perma brown face bug do not try to get this mod to work it will happen sooner rather than later.
Brown Face bug is caused by conflicting textures no mod in specific causes it with this mod you CAN NOT have any other thing that isnt in 2k, things like looks menu have a patch and things like asian face im pretty sure works out of the box but stuff like eyebrows will need to be 2k to work
This mod in loose file caused my game stutter constantly even with a 4080...Took me hours to find the culprit. Using CAO to pack this mod into ba2 solved my stutter issue. Finally a smooth gameplay...
Hello, this may be because of the most recent Fallout update breaking mods, but I have not been able to find anyone else with this problem. When I enable this mod, or any facial texture mod for that matter, 90% of my NPCs have a ghoul face instead of their normal face. Anyone know why that might be?
Seems to only occur when I use mods that change the textures on the face. Thanks in advance.
What compression settings do you use for making face textures? I tried to edit these textures and it caused the black face bug with the settings I normally use for textures. Both the Nvidia and Intel .dds plugins caused the issue.

Nah fr tho this mod bricked my friends game. Had him searching for a fix for 2 days, 1000 mods, removing this fixed his game. Wild.
Face and Body are completely separate textures
