Ive got a question tho, im on xbox and have issues with a few mods, so far FN FAL - SA58 and Escape from Boston Springfield Armory m14. with both of these optics look like they align but the guns are hitting higher than you´re aiming (quite significantly at longer ranges unfortunately). irons do not line up at all. I ran both mods without issues without be smol. Assuming its the same issue as with modern weapons, theres probably no way you can fix that, right? thanks in advance
Edit: im on xbox one s and use the all dlc version
Thank you, its good to be tall... I'm at Xbox One X, and this was the only way we can make our Survivors more unique. Also you made a good point that our Sole Survivors have had better healthcare and better food. They would be taller than post war humans. Right?
Thank you again ;) -EDIT: @drhamm Found a terminal that doesn't scale properly. Its the terminal in Nu Cafe Ola, from the CC content Nuka-Cola Collector Workshop. Don't know if you plan to fix terminals added by Creation Club, but you asked to be informed about terminals that doesn't work with this mod. Oh. I use the tall version and play on Xbox. -EDIT 2: Found a second terminal. Vanilla terminal. Railroad headquarters. Just before exiting the escape tunnel. Xbox and tall version.
Sorry for the late response. The problem with my mod is that it's a brute force approach that relies on editing each and every terminal by hand in XEdit, so I cannot fix terminals for any content I don't own.
As a result, I've switched to using g0kur's incredible FOV Slider and Player Height (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36768?), which imho does a much better job, and does it more elegantly than my paleolithic "stone knives and bearskins" and "beat it into submission" approach.
Love this mod thanks. Still prefer it over the other onces.
Is there a way to change the scale in 'taller' from 1.1 to 1.2 or something else without using player.setscale? In other words: can I adjust/tweak your mod to do this.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: So i've looked into the file and found the NAM6 and NAM4 values. When I change them, nothing seems to happen. To be continued. Edit 2: So changing the values did work in the end. Think something went wrong with saving it in FO4Edit. Human error ofc. Works perfect now. Love it!
Hi drhamm! I first off want to say thanks for giving us ps4 players some attention, i really do appreciate it. I wanted to know could you possibly make a version where we are as tall as a deathclaw, including a power armor frame? i really want to do a playthrough as Frank Horrigan, i gathered some mods to make it decently possible. if you could make this i would greatly appreciate it if not could i get permission to do it myself well atleast attempt to do it myself?
Hey I was wondering if there is any way to disable power armour scaling? I like the concept of a smol character entering power armour and suddenly becoming slightly taller than the non-power armour loosers. I've been looking around but it seems that there is nothing out there to stop the power armour just rescaling :(
So I've been screwing around last 2 days on PS4 with trying to get a Playable Ghoul mod to work right. after hours of messing with load order I traced it to a conflict between this mod and the only playable Ghoul mod that works on PS4, Now I have to decide if being short is more important than being able to be a Ghoul
No friggin idea why they conflict. but since that mod specifically says that the Author isn't updating I figured I'd post it over here about the conflict, just in case
This the Ghoul mod I'm referring too from Bethesda: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/3123659
Welcome to the Nexus, and thanks for taking an interest in my mod. Stonefisher has actually come up with a better way of doing this, though, so check out "Any Terminal at Any Height" at http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25255/?
The issue with my mod is that there are a few terminals I still can't seem to track down, and of course, any terminals added by other mods would require a patch. His mod gets around that by letting you change size via a consumnable.
Question: I use Custom Playable Children for my character, and my height is 0.825...will the SMOL height used in this mod over-ride that and if so is it possible for a version that just has the resized terminals/no rescale WITHOUT adjusting your height? I really love the idea of this mod, as I currently have one installed that does something similar but covers none of the DLC terminals at all. I just wish that it works for other height settings as well.
Wow, thanks for the quick reply! Ok, I installed your Mod and gave it a try...the Player is Smoll (All DLC) version and put it before CPC in my load order. It does not seem to resize my character wich is a good thing, but I do not see any difference from vanilla in the terminals though. I tried both wall-mounted and the average ones that sit on desks.
Hm... AbbaLovesYou and I took slightly different approaches to the terminal thing. If you're comfortable with FO4Edit you can grab the terminal data from my mod and replace theirs with it or even just remove the terminal tree from theirs so it won't override mine. If not, I can probably get a patch thrown together in the next day or so. Another thing you might try is changing the player scale in my mod and loading my mod after CPC, but I don't know how well that would work out, so you're probably safer sticking with the terminal change thing.
Warning: I'm not sure if the terminals will work as well for the smaller player scale, since I made the changes to accommodate a .91 scale. I mean, I tried to leave some wiggle room there, and it SHOULD be okay, but I don't know for sure.
To my knowledge CPC never contained anything that resized the terminals, I rely on a seperate mod for that...but as I said the creator did not cover any of the DLC and some of the main game area terminals are missing as well. I suppose I could mess around in Fallout4 Edit a bit and see if I can frankenstein your terminal data into that mod but I honestly am not that experienced. A patch may be a better solution if you wouldn't mind and you have the time. I am sure that not only I would appreciate it, but any other CPC users out there as well.
P.S. If it helps, this is the link to the mod I currently use for terminals that I was reffering too: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/download/14318/?
