How do I use a vertical conduit to pass through a ceill? I firstly create vanilla at the top side and then try to snap the modfrom bottom and no luck. Any additional tips maybe? Walls are being passed flawlessly with mod.

Thanks very much for this very needed mod! It should have been in the vanilla game...! It baffles me of how buggy and unfinished Bethesda left the workshop mode, even three years after release they dont seem to care to make proper improvements. Shameful, really. As is their general lack of polish for the game. Anyway, mods like yours enable me to actually have fun with the main functions of the game, thanks :)

The bottom line is their bottom line, why bother doing stuff when they have our money. We cannot hurt their pocket book unless we boycott buying product. But the game is 'good enough' and God Bless the Modding overlords :)

Yes that's the way things have been with Bethesda, unfortunately. Quite lazy and arrogant imo. But maybe with Fallout 76 now being a total catastrophe they may have gone too far and that may come to be the turning point where people wake up and say no more. I hope so anyways.

Daedragon, have you tried passing these through a foundation block? I cannot seem to get it to work and I'd like to know if it is actually possible. I tried the long pass-through to a long pass-through and to a standard pass-through. Merely curious as I sometimes wall large buildings with foundation blocks, typically the SOE institute foundations.

Sorry, not tried that mod. If they are thicker than 2 concrete walls then it won't reach.

Hi, I am having some trouble placing ceiling pass-through conduits. They stick to the top of the roof, with the rod down and they don't snap to preplaced topside conduits. I was under the impression that the normal way to place these was to place the pass-through and then click a normal conduits to the roof.
    Could somebody offer some advice?

"I was under the impression that the normal way to place these was to place the pass-through and then click a normal conduits to the roof." You got this backwards - place the vanilla conduit first and then the pass-through conduit second.

I have not the faintest what I am doing wrong here.... I used one of the passthru's to connect power to a switch, the switch shows as power. I used another passthru to take power from the switch, to the other side of the wall, and at that point, no power. I went from generator, to switch-passthru, from switch, to another passthru, and then to a work light. (direct wired.) The light doesn't show as powered. Yep, switch is indeed on, I did check that..... it seems that I lose power with the second passthru? I have no clue why.

    Any hints?

Edit: Ok, figured it out. It seems that even though the 'no wireless' conduit (insulator looking thingy) will snap to the wall passthru, it will NOT transmit power to it.

How do I fix that? I am guessing I need a compatibility patch for conduits and pylons various ranges...... ??

Edit2: Ok, got the mod that there is actually a patch for, we'll see how that works. :)

An addition to my edit. Yep, everything works as advertised now. Thank YOU!

Any chance for a switch that will accept 2 passthrus attaching to it?

    Awesome mod, thanks.
On a side note, you should have never needed to make this mod. I'm constantly blown away by the half-ass dev team. All the mods you've made for this kind of crap are simple and mandatory necessities that should have been created and included in the very first vanilla release. Some effing moron got paid by Bethesda. They got paid a lot of money to NOT make these simple and common-sense items that you have.

Pisses me off. So many things I need to download made by fellow consumers to fashion these titles into a more finished, polished, and usable product that should have been made by this multi-million dollar effing company and its hordes of incompetent, grossly stupid devs. Millions. Millions of dollars and international revenue.
    Let that sink in.

I used this more than a year ago but now I cannot make it work. I put the vanilla up first, then snap the passthrough to it. There is no power on the passthrough side (sparks on the wire and will not give power to connected lights etc.), but there is power on the vanilla side (sparks on the wire).

Using things like SKE, Homemaker, Snappy, Snap n' Build, SOE. I move it as high as it would go in the list. Still no joy.

If it's not working you should try put this as low as you can in your load order, not at the top! Also, are you using the compatibility patch in the optional files section?

I am actually having a similar issue myself.

I just started a new game, only load order changes are some weapon and armour packs, however Sim Settlements has updated twice, and I now use Kinggath's Workshop Plus, which I could see as a possible conflict.

The issue I have is that I can't get a passthrough to snap to a vanilla but I can do it vice versa, but I can get 2 passthrough's to snap together and allow power transfer, a Pass to vanilla doesn't allow power to the vanilla so I had to do the pass to pass option.

I can always try to tinker with my load order, but after 4 crashes and Workshop Plus not working as exact as I wanted, I have spent most of my day off building Sanctuary.

LBraden do you know how to use FO4Edit? If so, load it up and see if there are any conflicts.

Sorry for the Delay, but I wanted to give the other author time, apparently one of the mods I was testing had a dirty edit in it that has now been removed.

Also, I use it quite a bit, since that's how I tweak the radius of the default to be 2k rather than 1k.
