Will this work for super thick walls that are thicker than concrete? I'm thinking of some walls found in Snappy that are extra extra thick, and maybe even grounded blocks.
Maybe check out my other mod Vertical (Wall-Mounted) Power Conduits. It has its own pass-throughs and if you use them with Place Everywhere and noclip (TCL), you can stack them together to run multiple conduits through walls.
Mods like this, and people like you, are the only reason fallout 4 isn't relegated to the "total s#*!" category of bethesda games. You're doing the fluffy-lord's work. Thank you, dear mod makers.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before (I searched through the comments and couldn't find anything), but I wanted to know if this mod is compatible with Sim Settlements 2 (xEDIT doesn't show any visible conflict).
Less importantly, people having played with both mods, did you feel that the features of this one were absolutely needed ? I have no doubt that outside a huge overhaul like SS2, this mod has an outstanding value (I used to use it in the past, but I'm in the process of building my new mod list around SS2). Just wanted to make sure nothing is redundant and everything working at peak efficiency without collisions.
Thank you for your advice, and sharing this fine mod with us.
Does anyone know of a way to get Time Power Switch to work with this mod? I wanted to replace my vanilla switch with a timer switch, but unfortunately the pass-through conduit won't connect to it.
This is literally one of the most useful mods ever made for FO4. I'm on xbox and we only have 150 mod slots. Is there any way you could bundle this and the vertical conduit mods together, as they just work perfectly as a pair? Thank you for making these mods and filling a glaring omission on bethesda's end.
I love this mod and have used it since I started modding a couple of years ago. Absolute gold star 10/10 mod! I recently noticed an issue where if I place a passthrough first, the vanilla connector will snap to it but will not energize. If I place the vanilla connector first, the passthrough will not snap to it. I have tested this on several different walls, roofs, and floors. I have also gone back to previously placed passthrough/vanilla combinations and if I remove one of them, they will not snap back together. The most recent mods I've installed are Workshop Rearranged, and Solar Panels - Solar Power version 1.3.1. Passthrough is second to last in my load order, so I think it's in a good spot. I used Better Console to check a passthrough and a vanilla connector. The vanilla connector shows "define: Fallout4.esm" and "lastBaseChange: WorkshopRearranged.esp" The Passthrough shows "define: Passthrough.esp" and "lastBaseChange: Passthrough.esp" I know little about modding, but I assume Workshop Rearranged replaced (or modified) the original asset and Passthrough is no longer finding/recognizing it. Apologies for the excess of text to simply ask if it's possible to add a compatibility patch for Workshop Rearranged, or if there is anything I can try to get them working together. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Load Passthrough.esp after WorkshopRearranged.esp.
What mod manager are you using? If you're using MO2, make sure you change the order of the ESP on the right side of the screen, not just the mod files in the left panel.
I'm using Vortex. I looked up how to alter the load orders and I now have it loading second to last. I don't know what I was on when I checked my load order while trying to troubleshoot, but Passthrough was actually close to the middle, and before Rearranged. I reassigned Passthrough to a later loading group and it's back to full functionality!
Thank you for your response, and thanks again for making this mod!
Thank you for creating this mod, It has proven very helpful the last few minutes with the Castle and getting power through the internal door frames and walls. Great Work!
I almost never post, but this.. thanks for this, how the heck did the developers not invent this longer pass through thing???? Its a great quality of life mod, that makes building settlements much easyer, as you can just stick a pass-through power thingy anywhere.

Maybe it could help, or at least give you ideas.
