I downloaded your mod to try it out, but I can't use it fully because of the perk requirements. My character build doesn't allow/contain a lot of the perks needed here. Could you post a version that removes those perhaps? I am using the "all DLC's" version. Thank You.
the reason i made the different ammo types require you to have perks is twofold
1: because it makes sense if you think about it. if you walked up to a person on the street and asked them how to make ammunition they wouldn't know unless they had a understanding of firearms and the ammunition they fire as well as basic chemistry and metallurgy, so it makes sense that you would require the relevant perks in game to craft it.
2: for balance reasons. if i removed the perk requirements you could just make hundreds of rounds of ammo which would nullify needing to go scavenge ammo or buy it from shops/vendors which would completely break game balance and make caps even more meaningless than they already are.
the point of this mod is not so you can cheat but rather to add more depth to the game buy giving you more options in how you acquire ammo. if you are wanting to get ammo with out having to scavenge for it or buy it and you don't want to invest in perks just add it through the console.
I was just looking for a mod that allowed me to use junk to craft ammo so I didn't have to console cheat. I will look elsewhere. Thanks for your reply.
this seems interesting but I can't use it because of the DLC requirements.You should separate them or you'll maybe lose lots of people before even releasing your mod.
