If I can get a few people to confirm everything is working right (when you level up), that would be great! I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything that normally works fine locally on my PC.
I can't get 8 hours of sleep on a sleeping bag and a dirty mattress. The Horizon mod allows players to sleep 9 hours on a sleeping bag and dirty mattress, so why can't this mod? I'm not using any other mods that involve the HC_ManagerScript.pex file.
Been using this mod for a long time, it's great. Works as advertised.
I'm trying to do a play through with a single health bar, no healing at all, and I ran into a question. Let's say I'm at 120/130, and I level up. So max HP goes up to 135. +5 to my max HP due to a level up with END of 5. But I stay at 120. Could the +HP per level be added to your actual HP when you level up? Not a full heal, just the +HP/level tacked on to your HP so it all scales uniformly? I will pay/donate for that work.
Wiki: HitPointsPerLevel = 2.5 + (Endurance x 0.5)
I also use your screen blur removal mod. You have very nice mods. Well done.
edit: Found a work around. Console command to restorehealth by that amount needed. player.restorevalue health 5 That will give you 5 hp but not touch your max hp
player.damagevalue health 5 That will take away 5 hp, like you took a hit, but doesn't touch max hp.
Preezerk - do you mind me asking how you did this with console commands? I found a way to adjust my health in the way you describe, but it also adjusts the max health too. To be clear what I mean, using your example above;
1) Lets say I'm 120/130, and I level up 2) Max HP changes to 135, but my health remains 120. I want it to change to 125, in the way you describe 3) I use the console command 'player.ModValue health 5' 4) This changes my health to 125 (which I want), but also my max health to 140 (which I don't want). I want my max health to remain 135.
Hope this all makes sense! I imagine I'm trying the same challenge run you are
Took a while but I remember. It was Skyrim. I looked up Skyrim console commands and tried to use them in FO4 and they worked. Since FO4 is built with Skyrim under the hood. If you dig into the game files to mod stuff there are "magic effect" and some items are still listed as "dragon souls".
If anyone is having problems with their game lagging every two seconds with this mod installed, it is because you are using alternate start. The sleep heal removal is fine to use, but the level up healing removal will be your issue. Took me awhile to figure out that is was this mod that was making my game lag, so I figured i'd post this here to hopefully save someone else some time.
i'm also having the problem of the game frequently freezing with this mod active, and it also took me a while to narrow the issue down to this specific mod -- since it happens at seemingly random times, not when just something related to leveling up or health changes happens (like getting xp, taking damage, using healing items, etc). just traveling through the world, without interacting with anything whatsoever, causes frequent freezes.
and i'm *not* using alternate start (nor ever have used it). if the issue is caused by a mod conflict, i guess it unfortunately seems to conflict with more mods than just alternate start. load order does not appear to make a difference.
Having same issue with this mod, and I am *not* using Alternate Start mod either. It was causing major random stutter lag no matter where I was in the game world. It was driving me nuts - to put it nicely - and it took me several hours before I finally narrowed it down to this mod. Misery loves company...…..
I just started a new play-through and not even fully reaching Concord had already cheated death due to level up healing and had two broken limbs but no stimpak or doctor nearby but needed the sleep and this mod just saved me from having to cheat heal from sleeping! super glad I found this mod. Thank you very much for sharing this zawinul!

Sorry i have to write here , in horizon wilson is not consuming power or energy cells. My wilson has 100 power but it is not using them :)
If you can give me your e-mail or someting i can give you feedbacks from horizon.
Appreciated.

player.restorevalue health 5
That will give you 5 hp but not touch your max hp
player.damagevalue health 5
That will take away 5 hp, like you took a hit, but doesn't touch max hp.

It's all Skyrim, always was.

I'm not using Alternate Start. But I do have Another Life, not sure if they use similar scripts that cause problems.
I have some issues with lag when I enable this. Similar to RickTheNexus post below.
