Please use Vortex to install this mod! A lot of people try to install this mod manually and don't do it properly, which then causes issues because of improperly placed files. The Vortex installer works perfectly and was made to make mod installation as simple as possible!
If you don't like certain outfits, simply choose Custom option during the installation which lets you choose which outfits to make more feminine.
Okay, I don't know what I do wrong, but this mod just does not work. At all. I have it installed, all outfits look the same. I go to the armour workbench, can't change anything. I check the other workbenches, nothing.
EDIT: Okay so I fixed it by downloading the mod manually and then extracting everything where it was supposed to be manually. So the good ol' way.
btw, I am using a mod that gets you a tactical tablet instead of the pip boy. Is there a way to make that work with these outfits?
I know I used this mod way back and a great mod it is, and I have just reinstalled for my comeback new play.... Nora actually looked really nice on the Intro. Really like a lady you'd want to be married to.
Please don't take this the wrong way, Mr. modder (I think you did a great job), but I don't ever remember it giving Piper high heels. I'm not a fan of women in high heels when travelling with me over the wasteland cos I can't suspend my disbelief. High heels, if they didn't just snap off, would get stuck in the ground 24/7, or she'd twist her ankles on the first bit of wasteland ground. Heck, in real life I've seen a woman in high heels twist her ankles in them and falling out of them in front of me in, and I know another girl who says her feet were hurting in them after any amount of time trying to do more than just walk!
Heck, I can believe a woman would run around in the wasteland in a bikini than in high heels, cos a woman really could run around in a bikini (or even a crazy topless Raider woman) and not fall over if she's brave enough. She just won't have much protection in a 2-way shooting range..
Anyway, I'll just change Piper so she's wearing flat shoes. It's still a good mod, don't get me wrong, I like it. I just can't believe anyone wearing high heels in the wasteland. But that's just me. Endorsed.
Yes, yes, I understand you. I look at these shoes, I look at the fancy suits and...I look at the high heels again. How can you run in the desert in them? It's not practical. I hope I can wear the suit without them, I really hope so.
Hey I LOVE your outfits, and so many of your mods!
I just wanted to help you out with something...in case you maybe hadn't figured it out by now...and if you have but don't want to do it maybe it will help someone else make a patch :)
Q 3 : Why doesn't CBBE Bodyslide have the Institute Lab Coats and Father's Coat ? A: Because I couldn't make a Bodyslide for it as the outfit had seams when ran through BS. I don't know why that happens.
So this happens when the verts aren't in the exact same spot. In blender you rectify this by snapping them and just clicking and dragging they will snap (don't do merge snaps). In Outfit Studio you can also do it, there's a weld verts button on the move verts tool (welding is bottom left option, turn off mirroring on left too). Highly recommend you use them because then you can release bodyslides and even for the clothes that aren't bodyslid, they will apply morphs better. I really wish OS would automagically do this for us tbh.
Anyway keep up the good work, I love your mods and use a lot of them :D.
So, I got the CBBE version installed and I of course have CBBE itself. I can alter my body however I want, but the outfits from this mod do not adapt to my new body. They stay as if I have the default body type. Do I need to use Bodyslide to build the outfits to make them adaptable?
hey! I had to use BodySlide studio to make them adaptable. some great tutorials on youtube for that. my advice: filter out all outfits in bodyslide studio until you are left only with 1950s Female outfits. Then in the bottom left tick the box for build morphs. pick the zero sliders option in the drop down menu. then batch build these 1950s outfits around the zero slider body with morphs option ticket. this way your outfits will be adjustable to whatever shape of the body you have.
Hey thanks for the reply. I know how to use bodyslide and I've been making mods and using these tools since FO4 came out. For whatever reason bodyslides won't apply to this outfit mod. Also, why would I select the zero sliders option -- isn't it that the whole purpose of having a bodyslide compatible mod is to be able to use your own character preset.
Nevertheless, I appreciate the response man. I just ended up applying my own bodyslide as a reference on Outfit Studio and overwriting the .nif of this mod. Cheers
What happened to the old vault suit that got removed in version 1.9 - 2.0? Not sure why old files arent archived as its from 2017 and has since been deleted entirely
I think I found the issue! In FO4Edit, I discovered that the Salesman Trench Coat was the only one that didn't have the Race set, which is probably what resulted in the outfit not being equipable. Simply go into FO4Edit, find the 1950s Feminine Outfits, open Armor Addon, go to the Vault-Tec Salesman Outfit, and copy over the Race from the Fallout 4 .esm(will show up on the left side). Give it a try and let me know what happens!

I thought this was the Standalone, but looks like that one is gone, and the re-upload is Vanilla without BS/OS support.
This is what I roughly remember.
