If you are updating from a previous version, follow these steps:
- Update the mod and load your game. - Open console and type stopquest pd_lowerweapon - Exit console and wait a few seconds - Open console again and type startquest pd_lowerweapon
COMPATIBILITY From version 1.2 the mod is no longer compatible with Button Lowered Weapons, I've implemented a similar fix for the speed anim bug while walking with your weapon lowered. Using the 2 mods together will make your character to enter slowmotion while walking with the weapon lowered as they both try to adjust the anim speed. Kudos to JackArbiter for finding this fix time ago.
Works but causes fast footstep sounds while walking slowly in crouched stance. The older Button Lowered Weapons works too (but lowering isn't triggered by timer) and doesn't cause bugged footstep sounds.
Is there a way to keep the gun lowered after sprint? I changed fSeconds to 0, and tried changing bLowerAfterSprint to True, but there still a brief second of gun moving up after sprint.
Do you use a mod manager? Like Vortex or Mod Manager 2? That's how I (and I believe the majority of people who play with mods) do it. If there's any confusion on how to do that, I'm sure there's an FAQ on this site or you can certainly find one by Googling. Best of luck!
An older mod, but still works great. Does exactly what it says it does, so now the weapon isn't taking up a big chunk of the screen when just wandering around.
