As of update 1.1 the annoying wind sound some people pointed out is gone from the loft. It should be heard only in the entrance area. Update 1.2a - Added a buildable area on the roof accessible via a previously static door. Fixed a few minor things. Added all of the workstations in the loft.
Discovered this through the Enhanced version that recently came out and this is one of my favorite Player Home mods now! Endorsed and showed this awesome Loft/Apartment off in a mod review
My friend has downloaded it, and asked me to help her, since it was not working for her. I removed it, and started fresh, downloaded it and did a fresh install, and it does NOT work, so yes, I tried it...repeatedly. She has the latest update of the game, so I can say, without a doubt, it is broken.
EDIT: What parts do actually show up are dejected from the walls, and the weather comes through since the roof is not totally intact. It also caused her CTD when trying to enter, when the door actually showed up.
For anyone who may not be aware, there was an attempt at a redux version of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/54904?tab=posts
I have not tried either version yet as I'm slowly building up my load order. However, I would be curious to know if anyone gets there before me and tests the two mods. I suspect I may end up simply using this original and clean it up on my own...
it so sad to see that no one can pick it up and fix it. I think its one of the best home mods available. the placement is great as a central point in the map, also plenty of space there.
I love this!! some things though: u cant enter the hot tub in the right room just wont let me get in the water, in the left room u can here the waterfall from the other room right through the wall and there is no regular armor workbench. Main room u slow down kinda laggy, oh an you put benches in the bath but u cant sit on them. Thats all for now i'll let u know if theres more. TY so much :)
There's (apparently) a new fix for this mod to do with the door access (and some mist issue) at Top Floor Loft Fixes. Don't know if it works as I don't use either mod, but I just spotted the apparent fix effort and saw it's not yet mentioned here so thought I'd do it. Cheers.
nice that I found this mod - I won't use it permanently as a player's home - but I can do something else with it.
For a new run, I plan to write an accompanying story for myself, which I would like to supplement with pictures - but not an image-heavy comic - more like a "light novel" Since my char lived and worked in Boston before the "big bang" of 2077 - I'm looking for a pre-war location for an introductory sequence. No - it's not the lawyer Nora I'm playing - "alternative start" allows me to have a different background - my character was in the penthouse for a set card photoshoot.
I'm currently testing the performance and I don't notice any fps drops or anything like that.
