Ok there´s some mods for playing as a Ghoul, but not a single one makes it so ferals don´t attack you. This one does, and it seems it´s the only thing to accomplish so without the use of commands to make the character allied with the faction of feral ghouls.
So, could it there be maybe a version of this that doesn´t hide your face? Or add the same script the mask has to other pieces of clothing? I just want the effect.
just go into the files of this mod and delete the meshes it will make it invisible this might make your character bald but im using this with a ghoul race and ghouls tend to not have hair so it works perfectly for me atleast
Probably becaue this is copied from FO3 and it didn't have a "deathclaw mask" either, but something would be cool for the deathclaws too.
But maybe, rather than a 'deathclaw mask', (now that's just stupid 'cause they'd know) you could mask your scent by pooring deathclaw piss on your face and body. I think that might justify a reduced chance for the deathclaws detecting you while you try running away/get some distance/lay mines or whatever tactic you use with the little buggers.
Sorry about that, but I was being quite serious. I'd poor deathclaw piss in my face, if it actually worked, that is. Consequently, that could have some other effects, as well, like scaring away some of the other animals for a duration, for example.
But... Not sure how the sole survivor would come about aquiring some deathclaw urine. Maybe there could be some puddles around deathclaw nests as well as some rare random chances of puddles around the CW... Which gives me another idea: Walking on the piss puddles would instantly grant some minor buffs but obviously not as powerful as splashing it on your face/body. Why not collect it in bottles and store them in containers/inventory as well!?
Now that we're on the subject, other types of urine could be found/harvested in the game, too, and used for their respective effects.
I can see it now, the mod title: "Golden Commonwealth" ...or what ever the color(s) may be, between species, and what with all the post war radioactive mutations.
-------- EDIT: --------
This could even go as far as drinking all of them and mixing and combining them at chem stations!
Yes! It would be the commonwealth's version of urinotherapy with beneficial health buffs/other effects. Naturally you'd be able to collect and store your own urine (possibly other NPC's too) and consume it for urinotherapy -like effects/health buffs, possibly some negative side effects as well, but only in passing.
-------- EDIT: --------
Now hold it just a minute! All the different species' urine (including your own/NPC's) should be slightly radioactive, shouldn't they? And there's your first negative, minor side effect. But only in passing, as long as you take some good 'ole rad away.
Oh man I love coming up with ideas for mods! I really need to start learning more than just doing textures. But, anybody, please feel 'relieved' to use any of tehse ideas for your mods.
Does not work for me... I only get a clue in a cellar (Sanctuary) and when I spawn in via console it makes my char head bald, it can't me modded (the game freezes) and when dropped it vanishes.
I'm using latest patches for F4 and Ghoul Mask, not using any other mod.
This mod could be broken by now, since it hasn't been updated with the game... Though am not sure, since I'm not using this anymore because of that silly rad resistance. I want the rad damage, dammit!
That's not much info for anyone to be able to help you and FYI, mod author hasn't posted here for about two years...
Firstly, this mod is kind of old now and could possibly be broken by Fallout 4 updates that came after.
Secondly, for malfuntioning mods: Did the mod ever work at all, or did it break at some point? Have you recently updated Fallout? What version of Fallout are you using? What version of the mod are you using?
Have you tried reinstalling by: - manually downloading the mod and cheking that the file size is correct? - installing with a mod manager (if you use one) and check that all files are where they are supposed to be and have the correct file size? - After a mod manager install, you can still add the files manually, overwrite and check location, file size, ammount of files, etc. - you should get the idea by now.
Why? Because computer programs are screwups just like their creators and users. LOL Or, rather, we're only human. I've been able to solve a few texture issues and malfuntioning mods by both redownloading and reinstalling when I noticed I had manually installed (or tried to install) some corrupted files, I didn't realize were corrupted.
Hello, I don't know why but it's not working for me, it actually glitched the explosives box in the cellar where I can't access it's inner inventory (although it's empty). I've searched with "tcl off" but can't find it. Have you run into this problem before?
PS: I don't have many mods installed. If you have any idea what could be causing this, please let me know.

Regardless great work.

Sorry, don't have much more for you.
God-damn noobs again! XD ;-)
Why does this have MASSIVE protection against radiation? HAHA! I thought that was abit overdone!
Any possibility on a version that doesn't have rad protection at all? PLEEEEEEEEASE :'''''(
