    Can this still be used with VIS-G or is it too old?

    Edit: seems not, real shame, would love to get all the WE additions to sort with everything else.

      Anyone looking for this, I asked him if he still had it, here's what he said:
      "No I don't (have it), but VIS-G and the WSE update has weapon icons now, it's much better than that old setup."

      He says the updates should be out relatively soon.

      I second that. :) I'm digging into sim settlements and a fresh play through. Want them colored Icons ect.

    Awesome mod, I really want to get this to work but I am not sure where my conflict lies. I have tried reinstalling all required mods in a bunch of different orders but can not get the icons on the weapons. I know it's working somewhat because the icon shows on a conversion kit I have. I tried VIS with and without weapons didn't work either way. Anyone else have issues and got it fixed?

    Edit: so never mind. After I decided to live with no weapons with icons I modded one at a work bench. Then saw it had an icon. I dropped all my other WE weapons and picked them back up and boom icons. Guess the mod doesn't add them retroactively.

    First off. DUDE! You have no idea how happy i am to find this! Ever sense installing WSE2, iv'e missed these icon on my guns so much. Now, 2 questions. I noticed you have ammo in the esp in xedit. Did you do anything with that or is that just there to be there? Also, is there or will there be a way to git rid of the tags at the end of the name? I always found them unsightly when everything else in my inventory is nicely sorted with icons, and i can see the caliber it uses in the side bar. I guess i should clarify i mostly mean the caliber tags. I understand the other ones.

    ok im confused about this whole sorting/item tag stuff concerning fallout..
    i had VIS then removed it cuz some things werent working so it made things more messy than sort
    then, i got weaponsmith extended, and noticed all weapons are "sorted" and have tags and stuff
    so i reinstalled VIS, but this time i choose NO WEAPONS options seeing that umm weaponsmith has its own sorting.. but then noticed no icons and now im here

    what id like help with, was something i did wrong? so i just install this now and it will all work out? and all my things be icon/sorted
    i dont like having everything with icons THEN 1 or 2 things no icons or anything just feels out of place

    my steps: installed deUI
    installed weaponssmith
    installed VIS no weapons option

    everything is mostly sorted, ammo had icons also before i got VIS

    EDIT: so this mod requires UPDATED ICONLIBS... AND VIS.. but UPDATED ICONLIBS requires Gold Kit for colors, BUT gold kit doesnt work well with VIS, meh im really lost here, i did try installation, half the weapons have icons half dont, i did the trick with updating the tags for each (drop and pick up) some did get some didnt

    will this mod works with the newest version of weaponsmith extended?
    Can i ask why this mod has .esp while http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13957/? got none?

      Should work fine. Though I plan on releasing an updated version in the coming weeks which will use updated data from the new version of the subrequisites.

      It just may not have icons for any added weapons since.


      Also it is an ESP as this mode modifies the weapon keywords and INNR records to let DEF_UI and Valdecil display the correct icons. The tags file is included as I added in tags that use some of the unused icons from the updated iconslib mod.

    Your file has a difference from the current beta 28, 2 of them actually. The Sub-Machine gun (M1928 Thompson) has an orphaned record (Error: could not be resolved) in one of the fields (keywords I think) and also the Boxing Glove has had the "No dismember/explode" tag (which I consider a fix really). I'm not sure which version of WSE you're using but these aren't present in the latest.

      Yeah, work has been busy and I haven't had a chance to upgrade in a few days. But its the weekend now, so gonna release a new version today.

      Alrght, just released a new version. Found a bunch of other little bugs, so fixed those while I was at it. Also revamped the melee side and fixed a few other icons.

      Funnily, I had forgotten that at one point i had merged some data points from Better Locational damage into the weapons (No references, just like changes to reload speed or on hit effects, which is why the boxing glove had nodismember/explode. Also included Fatman Base damage. WE had it at 18, but mine had reset it to 400 from better explosives... So some of you guys probably had some pretty sweet mininukes.) I went through and removed all these changes, and it should be exactly Weaponsmith now.

      Also, merged in the tagging for the Conversion Kits from the updated WE and changed their icon. Was a great day for bug fixes

      Let me know if you run into anything else.
