I'm surprised there isn't much cross over between this Fallout 4 and Xcom as many things about the universes, units, characters and story can intertwine.
Xcom has quite a few Fallout mods so this is a nice nod to Xcom in Fallout.
Now that I think about it, Supermutants do look a lot like the original Mutons... you could throw in the Thetans (one is already in the game) and start an actual XCOM mod. Deathclaws taking the place of Chryssalids as "organic weapons" used by the aliens, etc. Put long robes on a Glowing One and you've got something akin to an Etherial. Egads, it could really be done!
The Zetan invasion was narrowly thwarted, but at a terrible price. OPERATION: ANGELS SORROW was a complete success, but the resultant nuclear catastrophe could not be contained. Now the Earth lies in ruins. The Council is gone. The old nations have all fallen. Those few of us who still remember the way things used to be are all that remains. The final XCOM project has been initiated.
We must rebuild, The Zetans will try again, and we will be ready.
Thank you for your contribution to Earth, Modder. I'll gladly hang one of these on the wall of my base. Now if only we could get some X-Com weapons and Enemies in this game.
