This was pretty good. Glad I finally listened to it after all the years I had OWT. Love the Otis Jiry Chilling Tales too, went and looked up both because they were so good in game. Pretty good taste and choices for things to add into Fallout 4, honestly.
This changed the way I play, I tend to veer towards quieter things, like settlement building, just so I can hear what's going on. I finished the season and needed more, now I can't play Fallout without further episodes playing on Spotify. Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful cast of voice talents and the very edge-of-your-seat storytelling they manage to convey to near perfection. Amazing mod! Old World Radio - Boston and/or its affiliate station mods are a must have for any long-term Fallout 4 playthrough!
I can't even put into words how incredible this is! I installed it just to have some background noise during my Frost/Survival Bunker playthrough. Something besides the ambient music to keep my ears occupied whilst I build a safehouse and hunt for supplies. What ended up happening was me tuning into this station and find myself sitting my character down just so I could listen into the story. I turned off the need to eat, drink and sleep just so I could sit and listen. I booted up this game just hear the next episode! I thought this was just another radio mod purpose built for Fallout 4. Imagine my absolute delight when I found out that this is an actual serial AND has been going on for years AND is on Spotify!!! Probably gonna uninstall the mod for plugin space but We're Alive is now my go to on Spotify.
I remember listening to the old detective serials they used to play way back when on may walkman. (I grew up in a time warp XD) I also used to watch the old Twilight Zones and the like. In fact, I still watch the original TZ, but my point is that this project is bringing back alot of nostalgia as well as my love for radio shows. Thanks guys! Great work!
We're Alive is amazing. I discovered it when I was working in a plastics factory, where you had to wear ear plugs all the time, so I bought myself a pair of headphones that looked like ear plugs (plugfones brand) and downloaded a bunch of audio dramas so I could be entertained while doing the droning repetitive work. Helped keep me sane lol. We're Alive ended up being one of my favorites.
i litterally want like a "station 2" of this or even more... i was litterally afraid that when the channel went back to chapter 1... that the story was cliffhangered!

Judging from the description (as I haven't installed it yet), I would think there isn't any music. It's a radio show, like Zero Hour or X Minus One. :)
Yeah this! I was converting the second season to .xwm to drop in and replace the existing files but the skyrim audio converter doesn't like files more than 23 minutes long. I don't know if I want to try the creation kit. I might just chop up the 6 chapter parts giving me issues with Audacity, idk.
Anyways, thanks for exposing me to this excellent station, I'm hooked. I'll be continuing this one way or another.
It's the perfect settlement builder station. I was attacked by ghouls at one point while listening so that was intense.

I love this story, I heard about "We're Alive" from my best friend just before I started junior year of highschool in 2013 and I LOVED this story, I just didn't have enough time. One of these days I have to go about finishing season 4 and maybe start the spin off. I thank you SO much for making this mod, it almost made me cry a tear of nostalgia.
