    This version of winter is the old version, and has an issue causing Winter to not follow people without the source scripts for some reason. Due to no longer having access to this account, I have reuploaded a corrected version Here if anyone is interested.

    Hi how do you get Winter to follow you? I have found him in Greenbriar Bunker and recruited him but nothing happens, has this been resolved i am i doing something wrong, mod load order, non compatible mods??

    how can i spawn him where im at? him being so far is awful and a hassle imo.

    I found Winter, but he won't move from the bunker. He just stays where he is after I've recruited him.

    hope you get him sorted out was missing dogmeat but he took one hit went down unhealable and cannot carry anything. id be super happy for just a vanilla dogmeat back since frost would be way better with a loyal friend. one thing I noticed any frost is lack navmeshing in the tunnels that being said no follower will follow you around. I use better companions for the followers I was using since it will teleport them to you after a bit getting stuck like vanilla does. it has a check in base game to see if there stuck. I downloaded and tried the more durable version of frostmeat and same results one spiked board first npc and he was perma down. I truly hope you get him working right since I truly miss him from the base game and I think frost would be the best fit for dogmeat even more so than vanilla only a loyal companion without morals would follow someone in that world.

    Yes, I have the latest version had the same problem Blocky5761  #21 , with global events set FROST, the dog can not bear the weight (I can not even give her a bandanna and sunglasses!) and do not follow me, it should. However, after my character followed by a single elevator, the dog began to run after him))It did not help and the use of mod Companion Whistle by Raumfliege... A dog comes when called her Whistle but did not follow the characters. Using the command "Follow me - stay here" did not help as well.

    P.S. and now, after all the manipulations, the dog is constantly behind 30 - 50 meters and sometimes moves as whether they took the drug "screw" ,-)

    I find him on the road where he's supposed to be, I can talk to him and he does his warning growl but when I ask him to follow me, he does a little bark and the dialog goes away. However, he doesn't follow me. I've tried using console to "kill" and then resurrect him multiple times. I've also spawned enemies near him and he will go attack them but then goes back to his spot on the road. I don't know what else to try.

    I must also comment that the dog does not do anything when spawned in, he just sits there like lump on a log. I would very much appreciate this being fixed. I did dismiss him and he does start to walk but the moment he becomes my companion again, he no longer moves.

    I'm probably going to have an answer before you get back to me, but I REALLY hope I don't bump into the aforementioned vicious version of Dogmeat wearing this skin... Looks too much like my last dog.
  10. I cant get the dog to move. He just stands there. He also will not listen to commands and move. He will do a trick and rotate in a circle but will not move from the spot he is in.
    1. Im starting to think that frost changes the combat style of dogmeat. When i reverted him to vanilla i think i may have missed one of the changes that need to be made, so i just confused him. Its a rather easy fix

      Regardless, im working to improve several things including that. Ive basically rebuilt the mod to make him standalone and hopefully thatll fix a lot of the issues were seeing.

    3. Ok tested it out and he is still locked in place. I tried grabbing another companion mod like blood rose and she works fine. Possibly try seeing what the difference between the 2 is?
    4. Curious. In my game he works absolutely fine (albeit underpowered immensely, which is fixed in the newest version i'm working on.

      Let me do some testing and see if I can't find a working solution.

      Also Animal companions are fairly different that human ones.

      I can't seem to duplicate it with nexus. When you go up to talk to him it does take a second for the dialogue to come up.
