Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I'm still modding Fallout 4, I've just been working on a different project. The BES-Power idea was too frustrating but I might try working on it more when I'm in the mood. Anyone interested in helping with any of my works, feel free to send me a PM.
Sorry , your mod seems lost its effect . My FO4 version is 1.10.163 and nmm version is 0.65.2 . I tried to use this mod alone to prevent the influence of other mods , but it still doesnt work .
I think you pretty well covered everything but I question including Egret Tours Marina. Only one person lives there and only because she recently sought seclusion. I doubt beyond setting up some basic defence and securing a supply of clean water (she can hunt for food) that she would bother cleaning up anything beyond her immediate habitat (the one building she lives in), especially since it would draw unwanted attention (she's actively avoiding people).
Anyway, good job doing something that Bethesda seems to have had a huge brain fart on.
Good point. Thank you. There were other people living there before though, I don't know how long ago but I figured they would have cleaned the trash up.
Aaah, yes! I've been working on my own variation of this, mostly cleaning up all the f*#@ing trash piles lying around (seriously, the world ended but that doesn't mean we have to be filthy), but it's nice to see someone else actually uploaded a mod like this that doesn't just get rid of ALL the trash in logical places!
Thanks! I wonder if your version will include anything I didn't think of.
Keep in mind I made more than just a trash cleanup, with Adequate Resources, you'll only need to worry about providing additional food and water when additional settlers arrive.
Oh yeah, I saw that too. Mine probably won't since it's largely just a personal annoyance-fixer, so I imagine yours will end up being much more complete (never mind that you're including things I'm not).
I don't suppose you know anything about setting up power connections in the editor and making new kinds of lights. I'm stuck on the planned Power module. :/ But for now I'm still working on the Precomb/Previs thing anyway.
I have been thinking this EXACT same thing. This makes the most logical sense. Why would after living there for years there still be trash piled up against the house? If you just move into a area like at SH that makes sense is it in disrepair and rubble as no one but codsworth has lived there for the most part. But at places like the beach or various farms when it's implied have lived there for some time why is there trash everywhere? So well done!
If you are going to total immersion I'd suggest at these lived in places perhaps out the outskirts have one trash pile, dump as they have to have put the trash they cleared and the trash they make somewhere. My 2 coppers
Thanks for the encouragement! I see these post-war communities as being very, very vigorous recyclers, but I suppose there would be some refuse they can't find a use for. I could see about adding concentrated trash piles as an optional file when I have the time.
It should be safe to install or uninstall at any time. I've tested it, and just did a quick test run specifically building stuff in Nordhagen Beach and activating the mod. Seems good.
Good to know. Someone else reported an issue that is caused by precombined meshes being turned off (which isn't just an issue with this mod). I have been trying to make a patch to rebuild precomb/previs data, I'll try to get it done tomorrow.
