For those wondering, it doesn't matter where you put it - ini files have no sorting feature, you could place this setting at the ass end of the ini, or right at the front of the queue and it would still take effect. Placing it under a section is purely for organisational purposes.

    Hi Bottletopman,
I dont get it to work. I copied your line and added it in my Fallout4.ini but I still see the cursor when im speaking to my follower. Tried "refreshini" without any changes.
Any advise? What could ive missed?

Are you sure you copied it correctly?

I've got bUseDialogueCursor=0 in my ini and it works perfectly fine.

I doublechecked everything - but i will try again!

Edit: Still not working. Cant figure out why.
      I tried put bUseDialogueCursor=0 in Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini.
The line stays in the inis but i still get the slow mouse...

Ive got no other mods which alter the dialogue system.

I even tried WITH Full Dialogue Interface because I assumed you use it.
Do you use all official DLCs?
I know you said it doesnt matter where you put it in the ini - but where exactly did you put it?
I really want to get it to work!

Contrary to the modders belief, ini files can be hierarchical and it does matter what section you put it in (and what file) for Fallout 4 (and other Bethesda games).

      In your Fallout4Prefs.ini :

      [Dialogue]
      bUseDialogueCursor=0

      Guys its working!
I did the same like last time - put it in every .ini in My Games/Fallout 4 under [Dialogue]
      No Dialogue Camera

But now im using an ini-tweaker with additional Launcher and it works. Thanks guys!

you need to add a file, even if it's just a text file with info, or i believe you could get banned or at least a warning

Oh, added a completely optional text file that just tells you pretty much what's in the description
