I made the animations only apply to the combat knife.[HERE] This is an esp, so if you're playing with damage rebalances, you'll likely need to change a few values in that esp. To add animations just drop them into the CombatKnifeEquip folder (Knife Spin 360\Meshes\actors\Character\_1stperson\animations\CombatKnifeEquip). This should work with any animations from this mod (and other mods too but I haven't tested every single one)
I have this problem where the equip animation only plays when the knife is already selected, not when switching from another weapon. Is there a fix for this?
Flat out not working for me? Using Mo2, should just be a drop in and play right? no frameworks for animations that might collide with it. Any suggestions? :c
looks awesome, also works on other swords for some reason, even standalone weapon mods, although i think it is ok since it does not conflict with anotherone katana animations, and it looks cool to do a 360 on my shishkebab xd
A lot of swords (and some mod added weapons) use the default vanilla animations for machetes and the like, and since Beth only made one anim set this affects knives and swords etc.
Was tinkering with a standalone version, but been a bit down the last week so haven't been too productive (in other words I've only done some of the basic groundwork).
E: Groundwork that was lost with my SSD... So, might shelf it for "eventually".
yeah, that's poopthesda fault since they were low on resources and decided to use the same animation framework for all the weapons. I think Combat Rifle and Combat shotgun share animations too thats crazy

Equip.hkx (the animation that this mod replaces) plays when you already have the weapon equipped and then draw the weapon.
EquipFast.hxk plays when you already have your weapon out then switch to another weapon. This mod does not replace this animation.
