I'm very, very late to this party, but THANK YOU copious amounts for actually having a version of Kellogg's outfit that doesn't have that metal arm cage/pauldron/whatever. I've managed to patch back in the gloves using Nifskope and it's everything I dreamed it could be. I spent days looking for a mod with this outfit option (because the popular trend seems to be mods that add the ¿pauldron? as its own gear piece instead) and was halfway through teaching myself to use OutfitStudio to hack the mesh, but this definitely looks better than what I was at risk of turning out on my first try.
I don't mean to give faint praise; I'm genuinely thrilled with this mod. The rest of the clothing is amazing as well.
I probably should have asked here better, so apologies for the message but I was wondering if it’d be possible for this mod to be ported to Xbox on Bethesda Net? Or is it completely unallowed?
@Ja1ine - Would you like/mind if I converted this mod to support CBBE females and BodySlide? I see a lot of people asking about it, and I was going to do it for my personal game anyway...
Update - CBBE conversions are done and replacing all female outfits with CBBE slideable variations. I did need to edit the .esp though to remove the default skin reference from the Harness and Shirtless options. I would hold off on posting it until you confirm it's OK - if if you want to post it here, I will forward you the files.
Update #2 - While I was editing the .esp, I created a simple injection script to add the clothing to leveled lists for loot, vendors, and npcs as well. I added the outfits to vendors, suitcases, random humanoid loot, minutemen, scavs, and watelanders. The accessories - I added to hats lists, so they can be worn with outfits and not make the npcs nude.
CBBE would be really great. I've been battling to do this, and failing. I can just about get the default CBBE, can't figure out how to use Presets, so if somebody like yourself, AWP3RATOR, can do this and share, that would be magnificent as there are some really great outfits in this Mod.
AWP3RATOR, thank you so much in advance for doing the CBBE conversion! I'll be tracking this mod in hopes you get that permission. Would love to download this, Ja1ine has done a fantastic job, wow.
Omg yes ! that would be fine. I sincerely hope Ja1ine will accept your proposition and your effort to convert this "not so simple" clothing awesome mod.. Keep an eye here and cross fingers. :)
Does nexus have a time limit on waiting for permission? Is there a point at which it can be uploaded with a big note to say that you'd take it down straight away if the original author objected? Crossed fingers! Otherwise I guess I'll figure out how to do it myself ;)
Ja1ine was last active on Nexus today 10-Aug-20 as a matter of fact. Still no reply to this request, however.I just sent a PM to Ja1ine for permission to post.
Oops should have checked that myself :( Thanks Awp3rator, appreciate that you're still looking in on this. Oh well, c'est la vie! I'm actually half way through converting them to CBBE bodyslide and I think I should be able to sort out how to add the clothes to the leveled list myself (I've spent enough time poring through xedit after all).
All, I have received permission from Ja1ine to post the bodyslide conversion! Look for it shortly on Nexus. @nicolamcnally, I added them to leveled lists as well ;)I use a script injection method, so as not to step on any other leveled list changes the user may already have in place.
I really am enjoying this mod as I made a madman/crazy build by wearing the shirtless outfit modded with rank 5 ballistic weave and also making him skinny af with beatnik and full beard. Then I would just rage towards raider and supermutant locations with a modded combat rifle while intaking buffjets xD.
Anyways, I am loving this mod man. Immersive and lore-friendly(except for my build tho xD)
This mod is excellent, but needs an update. Shirtless trousers have a tremendous texture and can not be updated with the ballistic wave. But they are the only pants without a shirt that do not have glitches in the neck and are tremendously cool in appearance. I hope someday there will be someone who will update the mod or create a retexture for clothing.
I always seem to have trouble figuring this kind of thing out with clothing mods... How do I access the "Additional Textures" with the faction logos on the shirts?
And, BTW, I love the clothes! They're inexpensive to make, lore friendly, and so simple.
