New versions will: 1- Be now be crafted in Chem Labs, in the Grenade section. 2- Allow for the Throwable Caps to be found in Trash Cans and will have sounds.
I was hoping I could throw bunch of caps at random people, like giving money to the homeless, making it rain, throw money at people's faces. But 1 cap is fine~
would be extremely useful if it's NOT created in chem labs and direct use by the caps you're carrying alone. I.e. if you have 50.000 caps, you throw one will be 49.999.
Love the idea. I said this at day one of Fallout 4's launch, that there should be throw-able items for distractions, the same way arrows work in skyrim.
I love the idea but would you really throw precious bottlecaps and bobby pins when there is so much rubbish lying about?! I suppose there has to be a ballance though.
This is a proof of concept for me and for now this is easier than collecting all the entries for empty bottles. I will work on that one when I can but it may take a script I cant make to keep the empties we make when we drink. :-)
Adding something like "Box of nails" and have it attract enemies attention to the spot, and then injure themselves slightly when stepping on them would be pretty cool. Maybe make it with 1 wood and 5 steel to get one "box".
I know the alarm clock from one of the grenade expansion mods does something like that, although enemies actually fire on it like it's an entity which is a little silly (although it makes sense that they would want to shut that noisy thing up)

I got the idea while watching Koubitz do a
FO4 Frost Survival Simulator play through. :-)
