The quest starts automatically when you start your game. If you have used previous version of this mod make a clean save and then install latest version. If not check if all of the files are at their correct places.
Ok try this: Open console type help blink 4 and see id of blink grenade, then type additem and write id of the grenade, try it out. With this way you will check if grenades work properly. And also quest should be under miscelanous quests.
Could it be a version issue? I'm playing in the french version. Maybe that has something to do with it? Shame.. this would complete my supernatural assassin playthrough but it's simply not working whatsoever.
No it should work for any language and I can't name a reason why it isn't working for you. Just for the last time make a clean save and install mod manually without NMM then just for testing, disable all other mods you have and start game with just this mod enabled see if that helps, that's the last suggestion I can give as the mod works properly for pretty much any other user.
I have the same issue. Quest wasn't added, got the item using console but i didnt throw it, just did the animation and took it out of my inventory. How to I check if the scripts are in the right folder? I'm using NMM and am new to modding.
The quest worked for me, I'm actually using this with a spells mod the requires this mod, its not hard you just need a couple of mirelurk cakes to dive down a short distance and grab the holo tape!!
Try disabling make a new save without it active, the re enable it again and see if it is shows then ...
Very good animation, unfortunately there is one serious problem. If you have chose the parabola perk, using this mod will cause the actual position of your throw to not match the parabola.
Gotta be one of the best mods for this game in terms of fun factor.
Currently doing an institute agent run(with the synthetic player alternate story mod) and this is the exact sort of combat depth enhancer I needed, as my last playthrough was a character with the CROSS jetpack and coming into this new one without it made me feel a lot less mobile.
Anyway the placement of the quest is great. After I had a heated battle with the crater folks, I grabbed the grenades and swam to the lighthouse area. I said what the hell lets test it now, and ambushed the atomites there by throwing the blink into a hole in a house roof, landing perched on ceiling beam, and headshotting one as he was waking up from bed, then cleared the house...
but the thing that SOLD me on this for real was being at the bottom of the light house, throwing the grenade as high as I could toward the top, and being teleport INTO the light chamber with the feral glowing ghoul(accidentally jumpscaring myself lol) and having a little cage match. The door was locked from the outside, but luckily an atomite opened it to try and get to me and immediately got blasted for their efforts.
so yeah, all this to say, this is gamechanging and I love it so much.
Awesome mod and much appreciated! I had been using the FFXV inspired Phantom Blade teleport mod on rare occasions to get to places I normally wouldn't be able to but felt it was super immersion breaking/cheating. This at least feels like it's supposed to be a thing with the Institute already having teleportation and using the Immersive Fast Travel mod as well. Thanks!
Is there a way to remove the effect your player has after teleporting? (the blue shimmer)
I am using the grappling hook mod which requires this mod to work. Yet every time I grapple to a spot I have the effect from the blink grenade, breaking immersion.
I love hucking Artillery Grenades down onto the ground between 2 or more Mirelurk mounds... when the grenades hit the ground the Mirelurks pop out of their holes just in time for BOOM! ... I'm just hoping I don't get the Blink grenades crossed with my Artillery grenades..

What gives? You said that it would pop at any moment. I am currently near Vault 95.
Your mod is listed under "Mods" in the main menu (I also launched via Mod Manager). No quest popping up.
I'd love to try this mod. But I don't see any quest at all.
And also quest should be under miscelanous quests.
But when I press it. I simply see the throwing animation and nothing else happens (The blink grenade gets depleted too).
