In Survival after becoming caffeinated with one of your coffees in order to deter the effects of sleep, the sleep icon disappears but I still retain the AP Debuff unless I drink or eat something else afterwards to make it properly reset. In doing so, I'm forced to burn through more precious resources than necessary.

Should be. There's a bug with the updated game where some texture swaps will revert items to base form but it's only a visual bug, everything should work just fine.
