Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot Unfortunately, I'm no longer modding so I don't remember how to use the CK, I don't really want to go back to it either to be honest with you. Good news is that the process for increasing the damage is fairly simple from what I remember l, I'm pretty sure there is a whole YouTube video explaining how to do similar things.
Not bad for your first custom-mesh mod!! However, I have a few pieces of constructive criticism that I’d like to give:
First, this doesn’t really look like a kukri knife, or at least the ones I’m used to. Try looking at the ones in dying light, and find some things you can change/improve on yours, but don’t take assets from the other game. That’s a no-no.
Second, I really like the detail you did on the grip. Very nice! Not many modders go into that much detail, but you did it on your first mod, which is impressive.
Good job all around! I’ll probably download it once it get back to my rig.
anyone know why this is appearing on the skyrim nexus? i got super excited when i saw this show up then found it was for fo4. wondering if you had a converted version for Skyrim, or if it was just a mistake. I would also like to ask if I may make a conversion of my own for personal use only of this weapon.
First of all - I love the model. The worn look really goes well with the atmosphere of the game. I do wish the blade looked a little more reflective though. I was wondering if some blood might become available for the kukri any time soon? (: I noticed that when your character uses the blade, blood doesn't appear on it.
it's just that the blade is so well oiled and maintained that blood doesn't stick to it... it sheds blood (both from itself and it's victims muahahaha!) like a ducks wing sheds water! ;)
I'm following that tutorial currently *Just started* There's a part where you have to attach several cylinders in order to form the serrated edge, however every time I try to attach them, it attaches to the reference image or the Kukri instead. Any ideas?
I've never had this issue before with Max. Alternatively, you can select all the elements you want to attach and collapse them all into an editable mesh and then into and editable poly.
I followed this tutorial too, Tim Bergholz (aka Chamferzone) is a great artist and a cool man too. If you want some other skins for this kukri knife tell me. By the way his next tutorial will be about a mech (that's what he told me last time).

Hope this helped.
