Any chance of a compatibility patch for Gatling Laser Overhaul (www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6742) by The6thMessenger? I filed a support ticket with Bethesda about the issue with the Nuclear Physicist perk not affecting the Gatling Laser's ammo capacity & they actually replied back to me saying they would forward my report to the devs & see if it can't be fixed by the devs themselves. Regardless, this would be a nice temporary fix & Gatling Laser Overhaul could benefit greatly from this fix too. Thanks.
I can sure try. I'm not sure what the etiquette is regarding compatibility patches with other modders mod asking permissions and such but i'll drop him a message and get back to you, hopefully with a good answer
Sweet! I'm sure The6thMessenger will grant you permission to make a patch for his mod as long as you link his mod to your patch & give him credit for his work.
Sorry to say but spending the better part of last night and this morning looking into it. I don't think a patch is possible on my part due to the way my mod and his mod edit the same files the only sort of result i got was by tearing half of his mod down which i don't want to do as its a great mod, you'd be best just using his mod instead. Sorry to disappoint.
There is technically a mod that does do this too, but it also removes spinup from the gatling lasers. (im using that one) But mods like these are needed as i feel the proper perks should increase the max ammo capacity per clip and not give you partially used cores.
