   Hmm not really keen on that idea of seeing fatmans flying towards me early in game especially in survival mode.

      Depends where you are. Not all enemies in the vanilla game can spawn with fatmans. This mod doesn't add any weapons to their equipment list, so its impossible that level 1 raiders will spawn with fatmen.
