Whenever we're able to use hotkeys for scripting, I'll take out the Homing Beacon entirely in favour of assigning that function to a customizable hotkey. It may make less sense from a lore standpoint, but Pocket Home's meant to be all about convenience. And I've not really tried to make this particularly lore-friendly anyway.
GREAT mod...but do read my report on a few bugs. Just a bit of ironing here and maybe some other script work. Please don't pull out now mate. I would love to see this amended as I would love to use this mod to it's entirety as it was intended.
Does this work in Survival Mode? I have the Lone Wanderer motorcycle mod that sort of lets me Fast Travel in Survival Mode, and I recently installed a TARDIS mod (that I have not tried in Survival Mode yet)... And second question, or rather, clarification... instead of going from Far Harbor to "Commonwealth" and ~then~ Fast Traveling to a settlement, this will take me direct to the settlement without the extra zoning step?
Oh, one more question... you mentioned having a ~second~ teleport beacon, I thought? How do you know which beacon takes you to which settlement? Thanks! This looks like it would help greatly in responding to the settlement attacks.
I've not tested in Survival mode, but this is in no way tied into fast travel so it should work just fine.
There's only one homing beacon/teleportation mat - possibly you're getting mixed up or my description wasn't very good when I mention scrapping the teleportation mat to get another homing beacon. That's just for in case you trade/sell/drop your homing beacon and can't find it - no matter how many homing beacons you have they will always bring you back to the teleportation mat you've constructed and you can only have one mat at a time. Unless you cheat with duplication or edit my scripts to allow for more - in which case you'd be teleported back to the last mat you built since this is in no way meant to allow for multiple mat/beacon combos.
