Same thing as the TheLast reported. Everything works fine and the settlement shows up on the drop down list to assign recruits, but they do not go here. If you spawn in a settler and try to assign them to this site, it seems like it works but it does not. I had the same issue with the new Reeb Marina.
The workshop works, doesn't interfere with the WRVR interior or its quests, and the green border is present to give a good (if small) build area.
Problem is that I can't populate it. I have a powered radio beacon and beds under cover but no settlers have shown up in a week of fast traveling and resting (charisma 20+ with outfit and chem bonuses). I can't move settlers to WRVR and can't make supply lines to it because it doesn't show up in the "move settler to" list of settlements. Is it maybe missing a keyword or two, or missing a settler spawn point? There's been a bug report since 2018 for "can't assign a Supply line to this settlement" so I'm not the first.
Does it include a visible border when in workshop mode? Also, Does it only add the border and workshop but keep everything else vanilla when you first find it? (IE: Is the wall shown in the images already there, because that would be a deal breaker for me)
In case you haven't downloaded it yet, The only thing it comes with are the workshop and the visible borders just like any settlement. The rest you build yourself.
Thanks for the clarification. The Images could use a visible view of the border so people who are interested in downloading know the actual shape and size of the settlement area.
Yeah, I agree. If you look at the station rear image they enclosed, those walls all the way around are very close to where the buildable area border runs. So yes, you even get some water area for water purifiers. It's a great location for a Provisioner hub for south and west side of map, and occasionally I like to come in, go around back and snipe the SuperMuties across the water in the Coast Guard Station. It also plays nicely with the other WRVR mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12377?tab=posts&BH=9), just load this one after the other one.
This is a really good mod. I have been able to easily build what has quickly become my 2nd favorite setllement site. Thank- you! Performance is a constant 60fps on site as well.
Will there be an all in one with this mod and making other radio towers into settlements along with Gunner's Plaza? And turning the radio towers into settlement beacons.
HAPPY to report there is an awesome working mod available that 'OPENS THE DOORS' to the Relay Towers for us... and i love this mod... Relay Tower Bunker Alpha ~ part of my main game now ..
So normally I like to role-play settlements with a theme. So what items are radio theme friendly? Flashing neon lights with WRVR on the side of the building was one that I had. If it would work, Raider Radio from Nuka World since I love that station. Any others?
In my raider play through who has done no quests other than Nukaworld I'm building TV studios at my raider settlements. so far we have a quiz show, a prison movie, the vault show (staring a captured Warrick family) , a movie museum (amazing what you can recreate using the in game outfits and settlement items Big Lebowski using the coffee can for Donny the wheel chair a bathrobe and sun glasses on a mannequin for the dude and a rug to tie it together for example). we have new silver shroud episodes being filmed and a Grognak movie, and I have a bunch of Operators dressed up on animation mats in recreated sets from the main quest being filmed recreating the parts of the story. Step aside Redeye Raider TV is taking over. Wonder if Preston will still make me general when I go meet him because Sanctuary is the only place not under Overboss control so far, I guess this is why I can't make it a raider outpost.
EDIT: I tried this and confirmed you can get it to work. Put the WRVR Settlement below Casey's WRVR mod. (I had trouble on a previous attempt because of the dreaded "0% Happiness Bug." )
Is love to see a nod to get this radio station up and running. As Oxhorn pointed out in his video: their tower is not ascended, and in theory the relay towers ruin their signal.
An "easy" quest would be to find an item to raise the antenna/dishes on the roof. Part 2 would be to go to every relay tower and turn it on.I'd love to see this- a) it points you to all the relay towers and all their neat little quests and b) its a lot of work to get a new radio station.
But since I generally keep a radio station on as I play it would be neat to have a new one working.
There are a lot of cool radio station mods out there and this would be a great way to incorporate one in.
Heck, they could even allow you to "extend" your settlement beacon signal to the entire commonwealth - allowing for the building of just 1 beacon to be applied to all your settlements.
There could be a slight problem adding a side-quest to raise all the other radio towers' dishes as for some reason the game lowers them again after a while... which seems like an automated reset, if not of the areas, then surely of the towers. All would depend on how this behaviour was implemented into the game...

Sorry, went off on a tangent there.
