I came here looking for a mod that had nothing to do with this, but in the comments for that mod, I had mentioned that I ~thought~ it was doing what this mod does... someone in the comments mentioned that they just use a console command to set the time of day and rate of time passage. I asked if it affected Survival Mode (that is, time between eating / drinking) but I could not find the mod again later.
And now it's moot because this mod does what that guy was talking about doing by console command. I appreciate console commands, but when I take a break from Fallout and come back later, I am unlikely to remember the console commands... but this mod will be there for me. SO often I start tinkering in a settlement and BOOM, it's night time and I cannot see... and I'm also thirsty and starving and sleepy. No more! Thanks again!
EDIT: Had to come back and add some new info after playing with the mod. I thought I'd have to swap back and forth all the time between crafting mode and 'regular' time... but no! You can set the time scale to be used ~while~ you're crafting and then a separate time scale to be used when you're ~not~ crafting!
So I enter workshop mode and time crawls down to give me plenty of time in the bright sunlight... I pop OUT of workshop mode, and time returns to its normal pace (because I did not alter the out-of-workshop time scale, which you COULD do if you wanted). Best of all, there's an on-screen notification every time the time-change happens!
Just a flawless mod, does exactly what it says, and does it well. Kudos!
Just what i needed to improve the Survival mode, now make sense, time for drink and food. thank you! definitely on my top 100 mods that you NEED to use!
Your description is too brief. What else does it do? Is the selected time scale, once set, become permanent throughout the save or does it need to set again if the player exits the game?
