Anyone know if there is a version that does not require armor weapon keyword. I dropped that boated mess ages ago.   even another mod would work.

I understand there is a version that does not require AWKCR, see February 2, 2021 post below.  That version may be a little more user friendly

This mod is awesome! All i hope now is someone to make combat armor compatible for kids to use with those outfits.

So sorry if this isn't where to ask but is there any way to fix hats? I got this mod for hats and it makes the top half of the head bald and the hat is invisible.

I might just be dumb but I can not for the life of my figure out how to use this mod. What station do I need to craft the new clothes?

I installed the required AWKCR mod, and there are many new workbenches, not on them named AWKCR, and none of them is there anything that can be built.
I am stupid. Pretty please provide a clue as to where in build the AWKCR workbench is, cuz I can't find it.

You can actually pretty easily do this with Bodyslide and XEdit:

I use the generic male preset for both genders, but if you want a different preset you could build it in bodyslide.

Create the armor in XEdit and make sure to add the child race to it.

Sorry but how do i equip these on a child if theres no dialogue options for them and 'equipitem' console command gives an error 'theres no such inventory item', although i have it in my one

You should get the dialogue option,  the first place to start would be to make sure you are using an outfit from this mod.  Any outfits for this mod would have "Child" before the adult name, for example "Child Tuxedo" .  Although this mod does not touch dialogue options, its possible something is awry there from another mod.

I just open the console, click on an NPC I want to give something to and use the command "openactorcontainer 4" (without quotes) then just transfer the item I want the NPC to equip, look for it in their inventory and equip it.

I do the same as WarSiren88, only I've been using "openactorcontainer 1". I wonder what difference (if any) the number on the end makes...

I have custom textures for Vanilla outfits installed yet they dont appear on the conversion. Is there a reason for this? It states in the Description that it will. I'm assuming its a load order issue but I'm not entirely sure.

Custom textures to the vanilla adult outfits should appear on the comparable child outfit.  It could be a load order issue, that is certainly were I start with such things.

Hi, I really like this mod, and I also tried putting together some outfits on my own to give to children, but the problem I'm having is that the neck separates from the rest of the body. I don't know what to do about this. Would be nice if someone could help.

Hi, you said you were putting together outfits of your own? Did you have the bodyslide to make outfits fit kids? I really wanted to try doing that myself too.
