Works for me. I wish this had a version that applies to ALL pistols, both modded and vanilla, cause the animation absolutely SLAPS.
Doing so is as easy for the game checking for: "Is this a pistol?" (Pistol icon on 10mm pistol, etc.) "If yes: Replace animation" "Is this a revolver?" (Revolver Icon on .45 bull barrel revolver, etc.) "If yes: Do NOT replace animation."
Should be easy enough to do with very minimal FO4Edit knowledge. All you'd have to do is edit the keyword for animations for each gun you want it to have an effect on.
Keyword for this in each weapon is "AnimsXXXXX" with the name after the "Anims" part, and if this has its own keyword for animations you'd just right click the plugin in FO4Edit, add this plugin as a master, and then replace the keyword.
hey, just wanted to let you know i case you didn't know.. uhm.. the .esp does not have to be activated for it to work in game, which is fantastic, the animations for both the reload and equip are superb. 11/10 a must have mod. this made my day, thank you. :D
Awesome looking animations. Looks like progress towards normal reload animations of non-facelead weapon configurations might be a possibility at some point (aka ejection ports on the right side). These look awesome for the time being though. Endorsed the hell out of
Chaaddd,do you use 3D max or blender? Im starting to think im gonna get into making animations too and making a gun and stuff and for the life of me i cant get blender to work andd theres literally no tutorial on how to make it work with fallout. I have this gun and these animations in my mind and i cant take them off of my head lol.
hmm so i did some digging and apparently I THINK,to change the 10mm animations { Pistol folder} needs scripting because whenever i apply this animation in there the gun does this glitch where most of it's stuff floats off the gun while reloading..so close yet so far ( im using .3 tho,it might be different with the esp)
That's most likely because they don't use the same bones each weapon has almost its own weapon little weapon rig. I'm going to do 10mm soon! But db shotty is next as far as vanilla goes.
Finally. A reload animation which does not look as if magazines magically appear out of thin air. I have been longing for much slower reloads for a looong time. This is glorious.
Yeah I hate how fast you can reload in this game. Especially with the faster reload perk. Tried to fix that with my mod, but simply scaling reload time down causes the animations to look silly sometimes.
hey chad,think you can do a quick patch for this reload to fit on the 10mm style or it would require a bunch of crazy mojo and do everything from scratch? seems everyone is doing animation for the this type of gun and they forgot that there's a few good mods that uses the 10mm
ok sweet! remember to make the camera move as you reload! adds a bit of cinematical look lmao. that dks reload anim in the new update did a pretty cool job on that in my opinion
