She will now occasionally say one-lines or hum while on your adventures. - Slightly adjusted her combat effectiveness. - Tweaked her faction alignments. - (1.1.1) Improved her AI; she should follow you into elevators and vertibirds now (among other improvements). - (1.1.2) Removed requirements for THBrows needed. It was causing failure for some people.
Any chance for updates for Sydney? I did a machine upgrade, fresh install and tried to find all my old favorite mods... now I'm finding that some mods have been upgraded and as a result, others don't work right. With Sydney it's her hair that's missing. I guess the hair mod has been upgraded.... Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar is now at version 2.5a... I'm thinking this is the culprit...I'm still keeping her in my squad though, just have to wear a hat... oh and thanks for all your hard work on a great companion...
not to necro this, but if you SLM 14 you should be able to edit appearance and put whatever hair you want on her. Unless she is like a settler and requires faceripper?
It's easier if you use the better console mod, but open the console, click on her (use a harmless command like "unlock" to make sure you've got her - it should say something like "Unlocked Sydney" or something), then type in slm [her ref ID(not base ID)], then wait for it to load. Recommended to type tai to stop them from moving, and maybe tfc so you can get up nice and close to adjust her carefully
As far I can tell, both Leyla & Sydney are outstanding. Are they sister's? A possible backstory, 2253 their parents were settlers until the settlement was raided by Super mutants. Destined to be "Happy Meals" but rescued by Gunners. Seeing Leyla's ability to repair things, she was assigned to repair Armor, Weapons, etc... Sydney tasked as a farmer. During a raid Leyla programed a turrent to malfunction and escaped with her younger sister, Sydney.Leyla hired on at Abernathy farm to fix thingsSydney hear of Sacntury and a calm life. On a Quest from Preston to ressue a settler I found Leyla .Leyla was eager, and grateful to save someone from her fate. After that successful mission she took a "liking" to the man known as "The Sole Survivor". On the way back, we found Sydney. The "reunion is something alse" this Man halped me right the wrongs done to US. Seeking his son and to avenge his wife's Murder. and besides, He's such a "HUNK". Sydney say, Oh yes, and he's SINGLE. A warm embrace with "giggles". But I saw him First, he's Mine. We'll see, sister, we'll see. I'd love to see interactio between the two. "Lord help the Mister who stands between me and my sister, "Lord help the Sister who stands who Stands between Me and my MAN". OMG, I hope they know how to Share.
I have a small problem with this Mod. This conflicts with Spring Cleaning. Every Dirt and Leavespile I removed from RR reapeared and is now not removeable :(
this is really great. I primarily used Construct a Custom Companion to make cool companions that didnt talk much but were combat capable, and this seems to be that
i dont need a follower that has 7000 unique lines of custom recorded dialog. i just need an extra gun, that can hold my crap, and acknowledge im giving them commands. lol
I have worked tirelessly to create a companion and haven't been able to do it. Created one, found her where I placed her, recruited her but then she walks off. Found her months later in the tunnels below The Castle.
I got 2 working in Fallout 3 but have no idea why I can't with Fallout 4.

Edit: Same issue with Layla.
1) Dismiss all companions you are able to, which should leave just the troublesome one(s).
2) Open console and click on the troublesome one.
3) Type:
cf "actor.SetCompanion" True True
cf "actor.SetCompanion" False False
4) If the dialog box to send them to a settlement doesn't turn up, then approach them to check if they're now recruitable (also not a word heh).
