About this mod
Power Armor spawns are no longer based on level, and specific sets are found in their place. The further from Vault 111, the more advanced the power armor model.

POWER ARMOR

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Because this mod replaces the default power armor frames found in the wasteland, installing this mod on an active game will cause ones you found to reset. This means you will lose the parts that you have attached to them.
Either install this mod before you start a new game, or remove the parts from all the frames you have found and store them in a chest. So even though the frame will reset, all the parts that you have will be saved.
DESCRIPTION

Location Based Power Armor removes the level based spawning system for power armor in the vanilla game by having specific sets placed in their respective locations. This way, if you venture into a high-level area or location you are guaranteed to find a certain set there.
As a general rule of thumb, the further from Vault 111 the more advanced the model of power armor you will find. Also note that even though sets are not level dependant, better versions will still spawn for higher level players. T-51c and T-51d etc.
INSTALL
============
MANUAL
1. Download the latest release.
2. Extract the ".zip" and move "Data" folder to your installed Fallout4 directory.
3. Run the game and from the main menu select "Mods", then tap the "Home" key on your keyboard and enable "LocationBasedPowerArmor.esp".
4. Return to the main menu and load or start a new game. Enjoy!
MOD MANAGER (NMM or MO)
1. Click the "Download with Manager" button on this page.
2. Now in your preferred Mod Manager, enable the downloaded mod.
3. Confirm the message in the installer.
4. Start up Fallout 4 and load or start a new game. Enjoy!
