after finishing the game with the minutemen, glory gets put in some kind of state. she exists, she moves around, she does not talk. she's technically considered dead, but she's alive.
that's the game by default (in vr anyway) so this mod creating a clone basically fixes all the problems I would have had otherwise, and yes it does work in vr.
Just going down the list of mods that add Glory as a follower {in any way) and posting this for any future Fallout 4 players who may come across this and this is, in no way, trying to put down the mod authors for the work they put in:
If you're not against using console commands you can make Glory a follower by clicking on her and typing cf "actor.setcompanion" true true (exactly like that quotes and all) and she will work as a full fledged follower however when you talk to her she will say the usual lines she uses when talking to her in Railroad HQ so if you want to dismiss her you need to click on her and then type cf "actor.setcompanion" false false
It works, but it's not finished. I want Glory as companion and I will track this. It looks like Glory is a copy of herself. Couldn't she be original Glory? Even if resurrected or recycled?
Does she have voice files from the actual Glory NPC? In theory we could disable the real glory when related quests are completed and use this one right?
