This mod as it stands has a better than bad chance of breaking your existing Concrete build menu. I can see in the .esp that the author thought, perfectly logically really, that they could just add their stuff as an entry into the Vanilla formlist and piggyback into the Vanilla menu entry. But it doesn't work that way.
Standby while i knock the rust off and see if I can fix this. I want skylights dagnabbit 8)
Hi Cartman. I'm not sure why (I suspect because I have other mods getting the way) but the texture color of the glass has turned purple. AFAIK, that means that a texture that is referenced is missing? I suspect that's because I have another mod that adds this too? Not sure which one, but I'll have to dig it out (might be clean settlements?).
Either way I don't mind so much as the glass is still clearly there, and not invisible/missing, so I kind of accept it now as purple glass ^_^
Mmoplayer75, That may be the case but it also isn't necessarily. I've never used see through scopes. This glass turning purple bug happens in a lot of mods, when you first place the item the texture loads as it should but when you leave the game and reload, for some reason the texture is missing. Opening the Workshop menu and just scrolling over to the category containing the affected object is enough to make the texture load on all placed objects that are missing it. IDK why this happens, and nobody with the specific issue on their mod that I have been able to find has been able to actually fix it. The game just forgets for some reason to load this texture until you remind it.
If you look there are bug reports of this exact issue from 8 years ago, I don't think it can be fixed, or not easily. Possibly an engine level issue, you know classic Bethesda type shit.
Do what I and millions of gamers have done: go to (or back to) pc gaming. That's where the modding is really at, all the best games out there are on pc. There's a reason why.
Uh, yes. Another reminder that Sony/Microsoft limiting your console to a mere few gb worth of mods really does also limit (and quite rightly) the experience possible for a console modder. There has to be a limit to it, even if it's seemingly harsh. This game is just too damned big to warrant putting a console ecosystem at risk.
Get a PC, even if it's a potato laptop. With the likes of Rickintosh's Performout and other assorted performance mods available, it's finally worth getting one. You won't regret it.
Hi, Love your work. Is there a reason why no Mod Authors in concrete products don't have half and quarter size floor tiles anymore. Also a half size wall slab. And also why don,t they make them all with the same color and texture, so when building all the floors are of the same texture and color. Your answer will be most appreciated. bigfoot2
When I activate it in my load order, objects in workshop mode are not highlighted anymore when hovering with the mouse. I can still select them but I dont have the visual outline anymore around objects. Anyone has an idea what could cause this?
