IF YOU ARE USING A PIRATED/CRACKED VERSION OF THE GAME, THIS MOD WILL PROBABLY NOT WORK.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SUPPORT! GO BUY THE GAME AND I’LL BE HAPPY TO HELP! <3

    • If you are using a mod like HORIZON that adds and changes scrap/misc/junk items, the scrap bench may not work properly. A patch will have to be made for this (and code changes.)

    Hello fadingsignal.

I've run into an issue with the "all in one" workbench, I'm not sure if anyone else has though, after using it for awhile I found my self unable to use the weapon workbench selection in the list you provide for the menu. So I decide to scrap and rebuild the compact all in one in a different area of the build area, now I can access the weapon workbench, but I have an invisible "dummy weapons workbench" in the game world that I can not get rid of, I've tried using the markfordelete command on it, but it has not worked for some reason.

Have you ever encountered this issue when you were play-testing your mod? And if so what was your work around for it?

Downloaded a few minutes ago, and I don't like it.  The concept's great, but I don't like how even with mods that change the vanilla requirements to build crafting tables, I'm still required to have a silver tongue to be able to build these.  I just wanted vanilla crafting tables that took up less space and didn't require a special framework to install.  This looked promising, but that one requirement is a deal-breaker for me.

I don't know what Bethesda was thinking when they decided that, in order to build a table so you could mod your gun, you had to first be able to con the entire Commonwealth into believing that you are the second coming of Jesus Christ.  It may be their intended mechanic, but it's still a stupid one.

Yeah I keep it in line with the base game to not break the mechanics. If you have FO4Edit it's a 2 second change to remove requirements from the constructible object recipe. I'll consider making a no requirements version.

Please make this available for the Xbox.  Right now, it is difficult to have crafting in smaller or tiny homes without downloading mods that are hundreds of MBs.  Love your work!

Good call, removed from the sticky 'cos I haven't used those mods since 2016.

I wish you would revisit this awesome mod and update them a little bit or add more features since these days you are more experienced then you was when this was made.

I'm just biting my desk. Why. Did. I. Not. Find. This. Sooner? I was looking for something like this ever since I started playing/modding FO4 like 5 months back. Stumbled onto this because I found myself crafting on them in one of Elianora's cute little houses. These things will forever be locked in my load order, thank you so much for freeing my settlement space^^.

Had no issues at all, they work as intended and I love that now I have tons of free extra space in my settlements. These are so handy in places like hangman's alley.

    Hey fadingsignal,

I want to thank you for those excellent workbench models. According to your permissions, I included the power armour and all-in-one bench models in my mod Crafting Framework and linked back to your mod and profile in the credits. The scripts I created work a bit differently than yours while the AIO bench's script is also modular so a user can extend the modes available in a few simple steps. If you're interested in doing the same thing with your mod feel free to use my scripts.

    Cheers.

Does this mean Crafting Framework ?(and also Equipment and Crafting Overhaul) is compatible with this mod?
Does ECO include this mod or do I need to install both to have both?

These have a permanent place in my load order. Somehow though, I thought there used to be some that were placeable on tabletops? Does anyone
know if that was part of this or another mod?

Not part of this mod but that's kind of a cool idea.

The ultra-compact ones are from Creative Clutter, I believe.

These, however can be put "into" the tan worktop/drawerunit, and that makes them look like they are "just" trays of tools set on the worktop. It looks fantastic, and you can still use the drawerunit for storage. The wide ones fit two Compact Crafting Tables.

You are a genius. These are tabletop if I follow your tip. I am going to check that Creative Clutter mod.

@ fadingsignal: Thanks for your reply. I will keep looking for them.

Armorsmith or AWCKR, I believe. Though both of those are super buggy and have compatibility issues all over the place.

THIS mod is exactly what I've been looking for, though placing compact workstations on tables or shelves is pretty cool.

Heads up but those don't have tabletop versions. They have something close but it's not the same. The table top versions I was using have been super hard to find. I remember where I found them now but the author left the nexus and I am unsure how to contact them. The author of Clean and Simple Sanctuary, Jenncave was the one who had posted the stations along with her mod. There were permissions as it was from another author.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me though. The search continues.

I see the file on her discord. It's the "Clean_and_Simple_-_Sanctuary_Startup.7z" file. I need to contact her about the origin of the stations.

Thanks very much for your help. I should be good now.

Love this. On one hand it's a bit silly to imagine my guy lugging around even a small workbench through the wasteland, but on the other hand I've always thought it was stupid that he couldn't fix a suppressor to his gun without standing in front of a workbench to do so, so I guess until we can get the whole workbench part whittled down to nothing more than a menu, this will get the job done.
