I'm sorry everyone, but I won't be working on this mod anymore. I started my own business this year and now it pretty much consumes all of my time. Providing for myself and my family is my priority. If anyone wants to take this project over, be my guest. Also, feel free to release on Xbox if someone hasn't already. Thanks for all your support!
Hey everyone, I’m trying to make the rooms like in the picture. I’m trying to make the open walk-in rooms with the columns but how do you get the cafeteria pieces to snap to the atrium pieces?
Since you seem to be the closest to achieving what i want could you make a replacement pack for the default Vault structures that
1. has the hallways, roofs, and walls equipped with active lights (light emitters)
2. has each segment that curcuits energy in the vault structures (same as above) emit energy so i don't have to attach one of these ugly Power Conduits just to place some lights i want, aside from the fact that it is kinda pathetic that a wall that supplies all the required energy for an object would require a conduit to power a lamp that is mounted right onto it. (?) I have no idea how Bethesda thought i could actually build something within the limit when i need to place 5000 pieces just for lighting the whole place up. Also i found that the large vanilla hallways do not have snapping points for the aforementioned Vault Power Conduits...if you could ...?
Anyhow consider it a suggestion, but it would be very useful to have.
It appears this mod completely broke my snapping with the more vault rooms mod. They only snap to each another, but not to vanilla vault parts. Even after disabling and uninstalling this mod it is still broken (worked before). Doesn't make any sense :-(
Edit: Nevermind, the problem was caused by incompatibility between MVR and Vanilla extensions mod.
But when i am trying to make a caf room my walls rooms and other stuff wont snap to the wall or floor, the only i could lay down is the floor but the rest wont snap on untill i have put 1 piece on the wall or floor.
But if i do that its offset and not on the other objects. https://ibb.co/fN5uQk https://ibb.co/eCnKrQ
If u need more info i am happy to give u, if its already explaind sorry then i lookt true all the stuff but could not find any help.
Is there any chance we could see U shaped frames? I want to have a window-wall-door (Or even a wall-wall-door), so it can connect to a small bathroom, but I can't w/o getting Z-flickering in the base game. I stumbled across your mod and More Vault Rooms, but neither have U shapes which I want.
Anyways, much appreciation for the work you've done
Hey. I read what you've been through and I hope you are okay.
I really like your mod, since I lost the native vault structures and I can't seem to restore them.
But I do have one problem, the singular doors have the buttons on the wrong side, so if I want to place a door, the button for the door flies in the air, while the structure from the door is on the other side.
Okay, sorry if this has been answered already, I did look. Much like a few others, I'm trying to make some small, 1X2 rooms. Heretofore, I've been cludging in wallpaper from another mod to cover the wall that's missing when using corners and single walls. I figured this mod would be a perfect answer. It probably is, but I can't figure out how it works.
I'd assumed I could just plop a floor in and hook the wall pieces to it, but that doesn't seem to be working. I've tried with and without columns, and I've tried several of the floor/ceiling sets (using quarters), but the walls won't snap together or to the base pieces. I was able to get a couple of them to snap back to back, but they're offset (I'm guessing by the frames that this is the way they're supposed to fit together.)
What am I doing wrong?
Okay, I think I figured it out. The walls will only snap to the corners where the skinny frames are, right? That means that What I want to do can't be done with the current set.
What I'm looking for is kind of like what you get when you take a short domestic hall and put an end cap on it. Just a 1X wide room, Is there any possibility that one of those might be upcoming?

It would be nice if that could be changed.
I wish everyone that reads this a good day. ^^
