fun fact pirates wore eye patches for this very reason. they lived above and below ships decks in a pre electrically lit world, so they would wear the patch to keep one eye adjusted to darkness or low light, and when they went below, they would switch eyes
You'll might want to add the required ArmorKeywords plug-in as a requirement for the "craftable" patch. You can't craft it in the chemistry station and upon analyzing the missing .esp files, it said ArmorKeywords was required.

Hey friend. I modded this to make the eyepatch non-unique and craftable, and added Gage's armor as a craftable item. Both under the Chem bench under Utilities.
