I have the Caravan Distress Signal in my Pipboy, but it doesn't play the message or start the quest, even after reaching level 15.
V(F4SE 0.7.2) 1.10.984.0.0 (according to the in game Settings menu)

Update: Apologies. Apparently this is a known bug that likely wasn't caused by your mod.
    https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/hi3eps/the_caravan_distress_call_isnt_playing_anything/
That said, I haven't gotten the Nukaworld radio signal, even after fully un/reinstalling the mod via my mod manager, so something is still going wrong.
Oh, and I don't have any of the other DLC's Quests, don't know how I forgot to mention that.

Ok, more testing has discovered that the All in One file just does not work for me, but the separate ones do, except for the fact that the vault 88 radio and the aforementioned Caravan Distress doesn't have any music (the V88 distress signal still works though)

Testing new game for Distress Signal.
Update:Ok, so I got all the quests, and the V88 PA system and Caravan signal both work, but the NukaRaidio is still missing, and both VaultTech Calling and All aboard are already completed despite just getting the Pipboy.
This was on a save where I'm using the alt start mod and chose "Memory, but wake up" I will now test the other options.
Note:same for "Dream" and the "Memory, Stay" options.

Note: on my main save that was still using the All in one, I discovered that the VT Calling and All Aboard questions were marked completed there too, despite never even getting the quest, as far as I remember.
Hopefully this doesn't mess everything up.

This mod used to work fine, so I'm assuming this is an error caused by the forced update, so I will, as always, blame Bethesda, because no, it doesn't "just work".
  3. the Nuka cola radio station doesn't appear.

hi, i try to use your script automatron to make the level start quest at level 30. there is no mod to start quest later. do you think its possible with your script ?

Yes it is. But you would have to remove the vanilla requirements so the quest wont be given to the player.

Technically you can use this mod and not start the quest until level 30. This mod scales the enemies to your level. and so the enemies are always 1.2x the players level.

Will try this. Did the automatron dlc not long ago and found myself running around aimlessly while robots exploded all around me. I had Ada with me- around level 18 with automatic laser and cryojet on her, and I never even had to use a stimpack. on hard difficulty. To be honest though, that area confused the hell out of me.
Edit: Do not try the last fight with XXL nukes. you will die. Period.

Anyone happen to know if a mod like this exists that does not require F4SE?

I used F4SE to be able to give you the quest Early (it was the simplest solution that didn't require the editing of the quest at all). If your on PC anyway you should Have F4SE no matter what its not like it does anything to your game. If your on Xbox One (RIP PS4 Mods) your outta luck, Consoles cannot run F4SE so therefore they can never get any of the cooler mods that require F4SE.

Erm. Apart from Automatron, all other DLC can be started early by just going to their start location (Vault 88 is a bit confusing as it's deep in Quincy Quarry and replaces that map marker one you find it). Even Far Harbour can be started both under-level and without knowing Nick Valentine even exists.

I don't know if Vault 88 or FH give a level warning (FH likely does when you use the boat), but when I took a Level 27 to Nuka World, it suggested I should be Level 30 but let me go anyway.

Also, Kiddy Kingdom the Ghouls aren't much of a problem, taking Gage along with his powerful infinite ammo rifle should fix that, it's the radiation. Burns through Radaway like crazy.

Fun Fact: Nuka World is the 4th DLC they made, as all it's assets are tagged DLC04.

Not even Radiation, just take a OP armor with you, OP = Power Armor, Bethesda made them so powerful, it just breaks the game.

True. Totally forgot about PA, probably because I often avoid the Minutemen like the plague and can't be bothered to pick up the T60 the BoS gives me.

I do like it being really good, makes it feel like the walking tank it was always meant to be, makes up for it needing fuel and repairs (even though I have mods that makes PA pieces last far longer than Vanilla (which often lose arms and legs every single battle)).

LOL, if I were to bet, I'd say these DLC's were long made way before we ever even knew their names.
I mean, it took them 7 years to make this game right.... now who really thinks they made the DLC's in months. Not likely. Nor were they made in the order they were released either.
I'd even hazard an assumption that like The Witcher3 DLC's, this content was actually part of the main game until they stripped it out to "create" DLC's too cash-in further on the customers need for added content.
In my OP, these DLC's and their content were years sitting on their shelves waiting to bait the customers into buying their Season Pass's etc.

I doubt it. More likely it took them way longer to make Nuka-World compared to the Vault one, and so they started earlier.

Fallout 4 Script Extender says it doesn't support the latest version of Fallout 4.

Thats why you dont update Fallout 4 until the new F4SE is out. I always back up my Fallout 4 EXE after each update because of that. So I can always roll back one update until F4SE is updated for the new patch

The radio stations are not showing for vault 88 and nuka world. I use LOOT and also after that didn't work, I put this mod at the end of my load order, and still both those radio stations do not show up. Your mod also should note the map edit odes change the player map to a more detailed map. seems like a great mod though.

If you already have the quest in your quest log it will not give you it. For example on my main character I already had started the far harbor starting quest so therefore it never gave me that quest but it gave me Nuka World, Vault Tec, and Automatron. with the respective radio stations (except nuka worlds for some odd reason).

It has given me the radio stations maybe try a new save?
Or there could be another mod conflicting (I dont see what it could be though)

i like this :enemies always higher level but the modifications to start early are kinda pointless because all the dlcs can start at low level.

but on the good side this could start a new batch of mods : this one is 1.2x lvl , you could do a 1.8x , a 2.0x or higher and even a vanilla version ( commonwealth version )

in any way thanks for this mod !

Automatron Starts at Level 15 vanilla
Far harbor I could of started it at level 8 after I completed Unlucky valentine
Vault tec normally starts around level 15 I think
Nuka World starts at level 30

These are also the recommended levels to start the DLC (besides Far harbor thats like level 20) but if you start them early it wont scale the enemies down. This mod ensures they are scaled to your character and that you can always start them at level 1.

To do that I would have to spend hours going through each plugin and manually changing all the DLC NPC's Level to the new one for the change. Below is a Image of a chart I made of how the enemies should scale to you now (Removing the decimal places, Rounding Down)
