      Someone was working with me on adding some new stuff a long while ago, but they sort of entirely vanished off the face of the planet as far as I can tell, so for now this is the last and final version.

    i just found out about this weapon and need it for my game!

    also i hope you don't mind i edited my downloaded copy so that it has a very low chance of spawning on an animatronic alien when you kill it

      You'll have to use the console to spawn in more.

    This has become my level 86 gunslinger character's preferred fusion cell weapon. Was using the pre-existing Hub's Blaster, for the synergy between the Lucky legendary effect and the Better Criticals and Critical Banker perks, but this thing is amazing in VATS. And that's even before I used console commands to add VATS Enhanced Ranged to the Vintage Alien Blaster. Yes, it does have a legendary slot you can attach to; for justification as to the use of console commands, see my character's locker full of legendary weapons that never get used, including several with the Lucky, Quickdraw or VATS Enhanced effects. Even outside of VATS this thing made short work of the Legendary Chameleon Deathclaw I ran into while exploring Vault 88. Compared to the standard alien blaster or say a plasma pistol, the main downside to this weapon other than low magazine capacity is a noticeably shorter range. Which is a fair balance for the fire rate and damage rating, when you think about it. Thank you for this mod! Most certainly Endorsed.

    I really do like this mod, but I am having some problems with it and I don't know why. The model is missing the barrel and the scope. I think it might be conflicting with another mod, due to the textures looking a bit different, with the blaster having the wattz logo on the right side of it, and the metal looking different; not to mention that it's shooting green lasers. My biggest issue is that I don't know what mod could be causing it, for I have not downloaded any that mention anything about messing with the animatronic alien blasters. Any ideas and/or suggestions?

      I don't have the slightest clue as to what could possibly be causing that. The alien blaster in this is a completely separate one from the default unused one. The model itself is just one file, as it is not split up like the other weapons are so there shouldn't be a way for it to be missing the barrel. Post your load order and maybe something will stick out.

    LOVE THIS MOD!!! :)

    Playing through Nuka World (I have the Huboligist version) and just got it and I love it...but I do wanna report one thing.

    The version you get from the Hubologists is indeed keyed to use Alien Blaster ammo...but it unloads and reloads Fusion Cells in the animation. :P I'm still using it and love it all the same. Is it possible I effed up in the install somehow? (I grabbed the other version first, then completely uninstalled it when I saw the Hub version...could I have left some files behind?) Have an endorsement from me and thank you kindly for bringing in this gun!

      It's not entirely a bug, it's just that's how the base model was set up. I might go back sometime soon and attempt to set it up properly now that I have some experience editing FO4 models.

    Love it! I wonder if it would be possible to make a cryo-weapon version of it, something that would take cryo ammo and shoot cryo packets like modified cryolator does, that would be really nice, and cryo packets are the same shape as regular ammo for this so it might work

    God DAMN this weapon is amazing. I don't even care that there are no mods besides ammo type. This gun is so freaking sweet that I can't give a damn. It looks so pretty and it functions so well. It's so delicious. Yummy.

      Unfortunately he can't, because the files he used are unused in the Nuka-World DLC.
