This is a conversion of our favorite Nuka World raider, Porter Gage. Hope you like my vision of him.
Using one of my presets which I think goes well with his character with some tweaks. I am including three versions:
1. Vanilla Hair: a compatible version for those that do not have the MiscHair hair mods - Anchorage 1. Vanilla Hair: a compatible version for those that do not have the MiscHair hair mods - Mohawk 2. Alternate Hair: I prefer this version but it has as Master the file MoreHairstyles4Male3.1.esp. This was part of the MiscHairStyles mods. You will need to find this mod in the web if you want to use this version as the mod was removed from the Nexus. You can rename the master or edit its settings in FOEdit if you please if you obtain it.
* Please remember you will get a CTD if you use the Alternate Version without having the exact mod. Please use the Vanilla Version instead with the Mohawk look.
Your faces are so well done. I used to use your Preston and McCready ones all the time. Thanks for keeping them up all these years. Gage is my favorite one I think.
If your busy that's understandable, but is there any way you could revamp William Black? He's honestly kinda an eye sore next to all these awesome overhauls of the rest of the bosses.
Posting here just in case anyone might have insight. I'm almost at the end of the rope.
I have the infamous brown face glitch, no HD DLC, I have LM and LMCC, no custom male face texture. I've managed to fix the with almost all* vanilla NPCs faces by deleting any custom male face texture, but Porter Gage's face still shows the brown face glitch.
Anyone have a solution or a suggestion?'
*I still get brown faces on males if they're added by a mod, I think.
No solution unfortunately but I too am getting this glitch, and I have the HD textures and the HD texture brown face fix. Every other modded companion I have is fixed, except Grungy Gage. And he was working at the beginning and now he's not. I have no clue what to do at this point...
Hi, I wonder if something is baked into the save, probably not. Just curious, if you have any old save files around the time you say it was working, try loading it up and then bring up the console, type help "gage" 0 to get the ref id and then type player.placeatme refid and see how he looks. This is usually also caused by mismatching resolutions on tint textures. It could possibly be you have another mod that you installed that is overriding some textures, please make sure to place my mod at the bottom to test that and remove any body/face texture files under the textures/actor/character and character assets/tint folder.
i have to say youre extremely good at making these faces.I just got done downloading Longfellow,Macready,Gage and Deacon. And they all look so much better than vannilla.Didnt like how any of them looked in the vanilla game. They all looked so lifeless, but youre faces actually give them some much needed personality.Great job.
The file "Vanilla Hair - Anchorage" does not have looksmenu CC as a master, and several of the tint layers are kicking back <Tint layer index not found in HumanRace "Human" [RACE:00013746]> in FO4Edit, even some that have values set. Is this intended? edit: turns out if you load it with LMCC it will fill in those values but it won't auto load LMCC because its not a master. Seems like everything is working fine though.
Hi, yes, I intentionally do not want to set it to a Master as some do not like to use the Compendium it seems. I do not want to force it. It wont CTD, and just not show the tints or extras on the face if you load it in game without the Compendium yet you still get the new face. If you do, you get the bells and whistles. Hope that explains it, thanks.
I do have a problem though - I have lots more hair and looks menu customization installed, but the tattoo's shown on your pics aren't there? Also his skin is clipping through the left strap on his eyepatch, and I see its also doing that on your images, can this be fixed?
Thanks again for the mod, keep up the good work!
Edit: I've found the mod conflicting - taboo tattoo cut content restored overrides, disabling it fixes this mod

Edit- nevermind another mod I thought was a texture replacer also fidled with his face and prevented yours from doing its thing. Loving it now. Kudos
