Has anyone played with this mod lately? Is there any chance of an update? or need or one? Thanks, I love these types of mod ideas and like lots of ways to power up my character.
Update, Its working but only for vanilla weapons for me. just as Many said before...I am not sure why though? I installed it normally with the extra file after it. Huh looking at my plugins the order was wrong, that is probably it. I will test and then update here. So, Loot is setting my order and its putting the Plus before the base file. Not sure what anyone can do about that...
SO, for anyone wishing to use this mod download both, but after you sort your load order as in my case I am using Loot, GO BACK and Make sure that in ur plugins (i am using nmm) That you put the PLUS after the Original mod, or ur custom/mod guns won't work. Now mine are gaining their own experience.
love the fact that you put consoles first, i hate that pc users think there better then others . nothing worse then arrogance ! nobody should look down on others over hardware and or money. its strange times we live in all over the net is outrage and arrogance. thanks for this mod i have it on console and pc.
hey i love what this mod dose but do u think u can u make one were it dosent have a lvl cap so like in late game be like more op in late game when ur fighting higher lvl emenie
feels like a dumb question but how do you know that the weapons get the level up bonuses?? i love the idea of the mod. Already got level 7 riflemastery. Kinda new at the mods stuff.....:P
you could always try making a new game and then just testing it by mass killing people gain some quick levels and check if the gun damage is more... but then who knows if it works, i use it an i think it dose work at least in survival it works for me when it comes to being level 1 and fighting like level 10 enemys because i use the "start me up" mod also
When I looked for this mod by FO4Edit,I spoted conflicts in "Player (FormID:00000007)" between WeaponSpecialization.esp and WeaponSpecializationPlus.esp. If I want to use these MODs, should I make a merged esp?
I'm using the Handmade Rifle. I do have the WepSpec Plus as well as WepSpec. Handmade Rifle is leveling but the Log is empty. WepSpec Plus does come after WepSpec in Plugin List.
After a while using this mod, the weapons simply do not level up anymore, I kept using them for long times and they didn't level up. I do see the logs and the list of levels within the weapons, but they do not gain XP from kills/hits/swings. Perhaps this is a conflict with any mods that rename weaponry.
Same problem here, there is nothing on the menu. I used it on a save where I already played, the logs are there, but nothing inside. I also don't level up any weapons I try to use. (I was mainly trying with bare hands and vanilla pipe guns.)
Not sure if anything related, but I'm using an inventory organizer. (DEF_INV)
EDIT: Turns out it is indeed working after I reinstalled it with the minigun version togheter, but I lost the logs. I used it on a higher order than the organizer itself.
