I tested how mouths appear in the dark in my game, it doesn't glow. Did you have a vanilla install when you created this mod? Because if not clearly a mod made it glow in your game.
And actually, I don't use mods to darken nights or interiors, just one to make vanilla rain & fog more common, and yet even I noticed just yesterday on the Tenpines quest the settler girl's mouth was a bit bright inside when I returned to speak to her that night. It was 11pm game time, quite dark, rain & mist and me yet to access the workshop for lighting - clearly the vanilla over-assumes good light. And yes, when I reloaded that save and spoke to her again, this little mod seems to have fixed it. Cheers.
To be fair, the vanilla game is never very dark. It looks like it's a simulated subsurface-scattering type effect. Mods that makes things darker bring that to the forefront.
Ahh that explains it. No wonder i usually get this glowing mouth effect whenever i use ENB Presets that darkens the night. It's not much of a bother if night isn't too dark though, like in vanilla. The mouth glowing seems to only in affect when you are at the exterior though.
Heyyyy. One of my favorite mod authors, hello! I hope this isn't a bother, but I'm hoping you can give me a couple pointers in the right direction. The mouth still seems to be glowing quite a bit for me. If I wanted to darken things a bit more, could I? How would I go about tweaking this? Thank you for your time!
Thank you for taking the time to fix this. Sometimes these little things can really catch your attention and spoil the game. A badly needed fix! Back to endorse.

Hopefully you won't mind me linking to an additional Red Mouth Fix I've put up, which could be useful to some: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41065
