I think this mod is broken. It makes my reticle look like this: https://i.imgur.com/EZR5bvo.jpg

Any way to make this replace the vanilla long scope?

May I suggest changing the medium-scopes to the PSO-1 style reticle, as well? The one from the Modern Scope Reticle is still present in the medium-scopes, and I find that mildot reticle they used to be too chunky for my taste.

Actually, what I want to know is what the purple text in the corner is from. I wish I had that info when I play games.

That purple text is from a program called MSI Afterburner, which have RIVA TUNER STATSTICS.
You can download it here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html
I suggest to install version 4.2.0.

Settings -> Monitoring -> Under "Graph" click in front of "GPU Temperature" and lower on the same tab u got "Show in screen display" (OSD). Enable it!

You can do this for whatever setting u want. I got: GPU temp, GPU usage, Fan Speed, Core Clock, Memory Clock, Memory usage, Framerate, CPU temp, CPU usage, RAM usage.

Another thing tho, when you start MSI Afterburner automatically starts with another exe called "RivaTunerStatisticServer" (its part of the main program). This little feature controls if the info on your screen is visible or not, control the frame rate (you can cap it) and controls other things. So go on your system tray icon and click "RivaTunerStatisticServer" (the icon is like a little blue monitor). Select "Show on screen display" again (ON) , under "Application detection level" select "Medium" , "On-Screen Display support" - ON, select "Vector 3D" and it think you are good. GL HV!

Found a problem with your illuminated versions: they're being unpacked into Data\ instead of Data\Interface. This is causing them not to work if they're automatically installed.

One problem: the whole reticle needs to be illuminated red. The real-life one was. Just most examples you find in person are old PSL scopes that used tritium that was long-expired. The actual Russian scopes used a battery and the current-issue Romanian scopes use working tritium. For a good image, view here:

    http://www.dragunov.net/optic_pso1.html

This will also make the scope usable in low-light conditions.

The PSO-1 sight is designed for aimed fire from the SVD, calibre of 7.62 mm. Reticle scale of the sight is designed for shooting at a distance of from 100 to 1300 m.
For target shooting of the Vintorez/AS-VAL calibre of 9 mm - designed sight PSO-1M2-01.
The sighting of the scale of the sight is designed for shooting at a distance of from 100 to 400 m.

U r right. But i cant find a nice png for PSO-1M2-01 and i am too lazy now to make it anyway. Maybe later, dunno
The PSO-1 shape in .swf file was from original mod file http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6108/?

Imop PSO-1 reticle is much more sexy, even if its not appropriate for VSS but u still get that stalkerish feelin

Yeah, I saw this mod and loved it.
But, I did my mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13445/?
And, for Fallout: new Vegas in this mod: http://modgames.net/load/fallout_new_vegas/oruzhie/m_o_n_pak_2_r_s_a/95-1-0-19336
I came up with to represent PSO-1m2-01 like this

Kudos. The scope's even right for the PSL (the "handmade sniper rifle" is actually a Romanian PSL when in sniper form).

Lel I am romanian . And I fired with an AK irl but never with PSL. I wish tho..
PSL is made in our country in the town Cugir. A fathers friend worked there but he never showed us a rifle. A very bad father, what can I say )
