A very awesome and amusing item, I find it quite amusing when I've had a bad day and have started a new character, to wander by and let wolfgang and his partner "Impress" the people inside the Drumlin Diner with his dance moves, sorry the only tip he'd get is a bullet.
Figured a extra addition could be sorta a "lets dance" rug type furniture that can be placed in settlements that triggers one of the dance animations when a idle settler uses it similar to how they use chairs or other equipment when not working.
Great mod! Not using right now,but I use Fusion City ,which gives me your dance gun and I use your other mod Lets Dance for player. I love that you included Fan Dance. Please ,please please, does anyone here know what mod includes the DANCE POLES they use in Fusion City,Outcasts and Remnants,Project Valkyrie or Depravity? They are very thorough with Credits of mods they use, but comments are closed and can't ask them The mystery of the DANCE POLES. Where are the DANCE POLES? There's a great pole dance animation in a mod called " Coito Ergo Sum" from Fallout New Vegas. I could watch that animation for hours. Maybe I'm just obsessed, but the hunt continues. Can animations used in FNV be used in FO4? That is the question, besides finding DANCE POLES. This is a great mod and has inspired me to have night clubs in all my settlements.
Dance poles are a vanilla asset called FlagpoleNoFlag, with a material swap to make then shinier. Rather than porting FNV animations, you can download a bunch of ready-to-go Fallout 4 dance animations (twerk, break dance, chicken dance, hip hop, salsa, ballet, swing, moonwalk, robot, etc.) here. Searchable previews of the animations are here. Linking a dance animation to a pole as a settlement item would be a lot harder. But if you can use Creation Kit, you can create whatever new idle markers you want from those dance animations, and place the idle markers next to poles, so your NPC's can use them.
WOW! THANK YOU Thuggysmurf!! You just filled in a slew of enlightenment and info. I downloaded the resource you recommended and will study closely. I am completely ignorant of the CK but may consider when it comes to animations. I use "Settlement Markers" by Kitcat and your advice reminded me that it has blank markers to make your own. Will go study how Catherine(Kitcat) explains it for that part of the mod. I use the Magnolia Dance marker with the rusty pole from chain link fences, but can't find a shiny chain link texture. one part of Magnolia has one hand doing something like holding a pole , so i do my best to align it. That pole dance in "Coito Ergo Sum" is pretty advanced, more than anything I've seen in FO4, except for fan dance. But that's all floor dancing and the FNV anim is all on the pole, sliding and twirling, legs straight out, just like strip clubs. Amazing. I just asked if its possible to bring over but alas, I'm not even an apprentice mod maker, much less an MA. So maybe just an ignorant question, but that's how we learn. Thanks for a prompt answer. You've got a lot of great mods. I use many.
