    To those that have a "disassembled" weapon in 3rd person, you have to rename the "weapons" folder in:

    Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\animations\

    to "weapon".

      Nice, that fixed the breaking in third person.
      Can you figure out how to fix the issues where you slow walk in third person with it out? (Reload sounds being wonky too.)

      I'm having this issue as well, except my folder was already named "weapon". Any idea what could be causing this?

      @Ballzack12 are you using MCGFemaleWalk if so that is what is causing the dismantled 3rd person problem so uninstall that.

    Nevermind. This mod is meh in its current state, but that's to be expected, given its age.
    Clearly old and abandoned. I'd love to see it get updated at some point, but I doubt that'll happen.
    The models and textures just look way better on this one than the NV port.

    Edit: I found a nice handy Youtube video with a Media Fire link from a nice, well-known user who's alias can be described as a dragon-type Pokemon of unusual color, and this link just so happens to contain a more complete Desert Eagle...

    hey i tried to edit the damage and firerate using fo4edit and no matter what number i put it doesnt seem to have an effect ingame it usually works when i edit using fo4edit

    What is up with the damage drop off? It feels almost like a shotgun, I can't easily uninstall now because it was manual download fck me ...

    Alrighty so about 4 different games I've seen lately have Deagles in them so I thought "I want a deagle in fo4" and decided to give this mod another try since it's been updated.
    Unfortunately not only is the issues from before I tried this still present but there's a new issue too.

    The gun still breaks apart any time it's in third person or vats like in the picture above, that was the old issue that's still present.
    Second new issue is for some reason when I go into third person with this gun drawn my character walks slow like I hit the key the makes me go from running to walking, I can walk at normal speed again when holstering this weapon and when I use other pistols in third person but this one makes my guy walk slow for some reason.

    This is one of only two deagle mods on Nexus and I prefer this one because it visually looks better and it doesn't add the pistol to leveled lists (Because for some reason my game is finicky when mods add stuff to leveled lists.), but the third person issues make it unusable. I would like to figure out the problems so I can use this, any ideas?

      The silver skin for it actually looks pretty good and best of all the gun doesn't break apart in vats and its not in any leveled lists.

      im a bit late but i noticed the gun breaking apart bug with a few different weapon mods since fo4's release for me it was caused by animation mods i had installed even very small ones

      I don't think I have any animation mods for FO4, most of my game is vanilla except for a few weapons and armor mods.
      This is the only gun that breaks apart for me so it has to be custom animations with this pistol.
      That's good info to know though, thanks. I'll keep that in mind when looking at animation mods.

    After uninstalling this mod, seemingly complete, any weapon that uses the 10mm pistol or .44 Magnum animations is invisible in first person for me. Even after reinstalling, the issue persisted, and then meticulously removing each and every file again, only to have the issue remain.. Any solutions to this problem?
