Hello, guys. Thank you for you all your comments and interest for Zoran's mod. I am really sad to tell you that Zoran has passed away last december, this is why there is no update for the mod. I am sure he would be happy to see that people are still enjoying his work so thank you. I am no modder or anything so I am not able to update and continue what he started. You guys are free to update his work but I am asking you to please still credit him. He was really passionate about what he was doing and I want people to remember his passion and love for gaming and modding. Thank you everyone.
I feel sad that your friend passed away. My hopes are that you enjoy your life still, or even more so, now. Thank you for letting us know. His mod was brilliant and (thanks to his meticulous explanation) quite easy to use, even for noobs like me.
I initially came to ask if the vertical paintings actually need a 2 to 1 (length to hight) size ratio. It makes sense and works for the horizontal paintings, for the vertical paintings it should be the other way around, shouldn't it? Now I feel that I should just try it out. I'll post down below my findings.
This is absolutely incredible. I can get any sort of image or artwork I want into the game now. Not only as workshop decorations, but also for custom worldspaces and dungeons.
There some things I just don't understand in the Tutorial, Maybe some can help me
Vertical paintings textures. The .dds files must have all an horizontal 2/1 size ratio (standard : 1024/512, 2048/1024, etc) and must be saved both under DXT1 or DXT5. The frame meshes manage transparency. Names them well : “ACS_SB_PaintingV_Sketchxx.dds”
Names them well : “ACS_SB_PaintingV_Sketchxx.dds”. Do I rename a file?
You need to rename your picture texture you want use as replacement "myamazingpicture.dds" into ACS_SB_PaintingV_Sketchxx.dds” (xx is for "01", "02" or "03", .., for several pictures). And be sure of the pixels size of it as describes.
Love the mod, made a sketch book... sort of a Fallout inception... Though not being a modder the tutorial has left me stumped. Though I would like to to do my part for the Fallout art world.
