The buttons that call the elevator on each floor remain floating away from the elevator door. Is this a bug that was never fixed? The elevator works fine, but the exterior elevator buttons float in the air. Aesthetically, it looks strange. I don't understand why they stay like that.🤔
Looks as though this one has been abandoned, which is a shame because I'm also having issues with the interior buttons vanishing. Really unfortunate, it wouldve been a great mod
They're scripted, so a lot of the time if you pick the elevator up in workshop mode, then just release it so it snaps right back where it was, they'll show back up.
But yes, I don't believe ccmads will be working on this anymore. I've tried to request a high tech version that works like this one, but never gotten a reply.
I've used several elevator mods over the years (amazingly missed this one......or stupidly missed this one......) and all of them get the button glitch occasionally on 4 or 5 story elevators.
Even if you use no mods at all ( total vanilla game ) vanilla lifts will sometimes loose their buttons. It is a game bug that Beth never gave a rats bum about, so it never got fixed.
I've only just spotted this...I was so proud with the elevator I built in Vault 88 using his original elevator mod and slotting walls around it........and now I can do it properly......oh well...only spent about 5 hours on the first one.....

If you have my other elevator mods, like the Craftable Institute Elevator, please remember to update them as well.
