I played FO4 first about 6-7 years ago, then hiatus for 2-3 years, and then pick up the game again. In both gameplay, I've downloaded the synth -terminators, because who wouldn't? Pip-Boy GONE. Recently after fresh installation I've stuck with the same problem again (because I use the old save), and found the cure to uninstall the mod.
I hope someone could revamp this lovely mod. I want to see T800 in fallout
first movie homemade pipe bomb in present day used by Kyle Reese after stuffing it into the waiste of the T-800s endoskeleton. in future war and games rockets also had the potential to dismember limbs of the machines however the torso portion still functions and if it still has its weapon can still return fire and if it dropped it and none of the resistance didnt kill it afterwards it can relay information about the movements of the resistance due to it still functioning and able to observe.
In case anybody doesn't look at the Bugs section, let me save you a few hours of pulling your hair out: This mod BREAKS your Pip-Boy.
It can be fixed in xEdit easily (just delete the armor and armor addon entries referencing the Pip-Boy), but why, why, WHY in the world does this mod about terminator synths modify the Pip-Boy record? As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no reason for this dirty edit.
Tried everything and cannot get this to work properly, installing most recent results in the synth skeletons just being invisible and the skin floating around, only when I install the old one does it actually work but then I get the wierd double eyes glitch. The ini is all right and I don't know what else I can do as I have been messing with the load order for hours trying to get it to work right.
I thought this was happening to me too. There seems to be a couple groups of Gen 2 Synths in the game. I am using a War of the Commonwealth mod and the basic Gen 2 Synths spawn a lot which are the games normal looking ones. I used the commands to spawn a couple Gen 2 Synth types and was able to get a few to spawn using the T-800 Endo-Skeletons. It could be that this mod specifically modifies a leveled list of Gen 2 Synth NPC's.
This mod can cause the Pipboy (PB) to disappear in third but also make it so that when you try to use it, you will be looking at your arm without any PB, I found out the hard way and yes..... I had to manually disable and re-enable every mod in a bulk of 3 to save some time, this was very time consuming as I had to reload to the point just when you insert the PB into the vault 111 door lock, this is when you know the glitch has taken effect as when you have inserted into that lock, you no longer have you PB, troubleshooting this was a pain but here is the info if anyone needs it.
Until it gets fixed I recommend not using this mod or you may risk losing your PB.
Side note, I lost mine on a playthrough about 6-7 hours into the game, and it was just gone, I tried using console commands to give me the PB and the power armor fix, this will not work, CONSOLE COMMANDS DO NOT WORK, it is this mod, at first I thought it was just the game and deleted all my work, I was pissed losing all my work thinking it was just a Bethesda error, so this mod can also glitch your game out way past the point of vault 111, I hope this helps anyone experiencing this glitch.
Yeah same, amazingly I found this a few years back and could never figure out what was causing it and tried everything to bring it back. I stopped playing this game for a year or so and came back to it in the last couple of days...I decided to start fresh and install everything over because just about every mod I had needed updating and I just fancied it as I knew more about modding and realised I was probably sloppy in the past.
Installing things one at a time and testing my character and lo and behold, Pip-Boy gone! I was installing mods 1-2 at a time so it wasn't hard to find the culprit this time round.
