I've been using this mod for years and love it. The way I use it is with conquest. I roll random coordinates and then set up a settlement at whatever location that is. It's very fun.
I just switched to "Start Me Up" alternate start mod. The note no longer appears. I assume this is because of the way Start Me Up initiates the Pipboy so the note does not get triggered to populate in the inventory.
I'm pretty sure you are both right the first 2 digits represents where it is in your load order. NN001733 where NN equals where it appears in your load order.
This is such a Logically Rational useful tool I only found a link to it hidden inside a text file of a nother mod :)
I am curious about creating NEW settlements, and especially via plopping down a workbench somehow and etc, there are lots of links to techniques for this activity too study/test etc...
But given THIS mod... are we only allowed to have ONE settlement in each game CELL?
Or are the workshop/settlement boundaries distances from OTHER workshops MEASURED in some smaller SUBSET measurement of the the one and only CELL number??
Thanks so much for making this, I had been exactly looking for something like this, and after giving up, I stumbled onto this. greatly appreciated and works great. that message is also a great touch!
Thought I'd add the commands lines to use with this mod:
For Commonwealth cells: cow commonwealth (cell number) example 1,1 or 1,-1 For FarHarbor cells: cow dlc03farharbor (cell number) For NukaWorld cells: cow nukaworld (cell number)
Thanks again ShatteredSteel for the usage permissions, I appreciate it.
Dropped by to leave an Endorsement and to say thanks for posting this, it was extremely helpful to find potential spawn locations when I was making my Nightstrikers mod.
