Hi there, I'm having a problem with this mod and about 12 other roads mods I've tried. Nothing seems to overwrite the current roads. Whatever mod i use will not change it? I don't know what it could be? Its literally infuriating, could you offer any insight as to a solution. I'm on vortex...

    Thanks in advance.

I have had the same nightmare and finally got these working together in this order AT THE VERY END OF LO BEFORE OVERWRITES and NO other texture mods that change any Commonwealth landscapes so its totally barren but you can build it up and decorate it with landscape mods you place independently rather than one that affects the entire commonwealth and puts things where you just dont want them and have issues with taller grass coming through floor boards! Or one bridge mod I loved thats brick (not really original) it placed ugle piles of dirt on each side of the bridge, and others still had dirt sticking through in some places. It was a nightmare! this order works and is the closest I can get to original I will also go find the name of the mod I use for placing grass, even thin strips for the sidewalks:

From this mod (Realistic Sanctuary Roads):
1.3 Post War Only - Lore Friendly
      and:
2.1 Pre War Nuka Sidewalks - grey Curb from this mod
      With:
      Sanctuary River Reclamation:  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26517?tab=files
      AND:
      Clean and Simple Sanctuary:  https://discord.com/channels/859905473440776253/869919547212324924/1007841421962788964
      As Well As:
      Scrap Everything: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5320

5 FILES, IN THAT ORDER AT THE END

Honestly, I took me a long time playing around until I got three working together for bridge, road and water.
These three work well together and best used after youve gathered what you want yourself for junk first, then load these or youll loose anything you may want to gather up for junk to use for resources if you play that way. I think personally to get Sanctuary back as original as possible pre war you dont really have any other optiont than to scrap it and replace with new loaded textures. You can go gather resources from other places!
What I would have like from this modder is none of the textures match the original Sanctuary tiles with white edging. Pre War Lore Friendl curbs should be white not the sasme colour as the road and footpath. And its nto being fussy, it does make quite a difference. And the original road was not that grey coble, it is lighter grey slabs.

Jen also has other clean and simple mods like one headed sanctuary super clean and simple startup, but het words 'start up" worry me so Ive not tried that one. If it had grass texture then YES. Being on Discord there is no description and no images which is a shame. but look through her other mod options and try them out if your brave enough.

What is the mod youre using for the plants/trees/grass and folliage? Because i have Regrowth and it doesnt look like that at all.
    Thank you.

That actually was Regrowth Overhaul, the Lite version. I believe it is no longer available on the Regrowth file page.

I know this was a long time ago but for others who may be on the hunt, I went looking for all the old/missing mods that were popular.  You can find the updated full version of the Regrowth Overhaul here:  https://regrowth-overhaul-unsupported.en.softonic.com/download.

      Update:
Personally, I tried it but removed it. Its very overpowering to the point where its very dense in places and you cant even walk along the Lexington busted overbridge. The trees are so dense I couldnt see infront of me and kept falling through the holes and in many places its very dense. So sadly I removed it for those reasons. Sad really because if you can put up with those things it IS worth it when using it for "views"/LOD like the settlement blueprint Im working for at Dallton Farm, I was hanging out there when I tried it and wow, instead of seeing dry rotten pine stumps in the distance you see glorious forests. For that alone its worth it!

So um.... I can't tell if this mod is working or not.   Isn't the mud on the sides of the sidewalks supposed to be grassy like in the pictures?  or is that the regrowth mod?  If so then dang... cuz I just want to have the road textures be grassy on the grass parts =/

Is there a way to make all of the roads this dark? I love the color.

This is anything but realistic, with rain and heat, roads turn white with time. This looks like the asphalt was laid yesterday.

Being free and of no obligation by you to download, your opinion of my work is obsolete and of no consequence.
      Move on.

Thanks for this. I walked into Sanctuary one day and saw just how low rez the roads were. They simply looked blurry. Adding the light version really gave them character.

Like the look of the roads and sidewalks. I use clean sanctuary which leaves only the roads and sidewalks and was wondering if this is compatible with it. And if it would add the driveways etc back in or just replace the roads that are there.

On a side note, the regrowth mod, does it put grass in "weird" spots like sidewalks and such? Was thinking of trying it but know some of them are a bit overboard.

There are no meshes included with this mod, so nothing "physical" will be added to your game. My gravel files are material files that communicate with the vanilla meshes and tell them to draw textures from the gravel texture filepath. If another mod uses the vanilla road and sidewalk meshes and keeps the vanilla file path, my mod will texture those meshes. Try it out, this is perfectly safe to remove and re-add mid-game as it only contains textures and materials. Hope this helps.

My Sanctuary looks exactly how I wanted it to with the addition of your roofs and roads. :) Submitted two photos. Thank you so much! (Will endorse as soon as the Nexus lets me.)

For the houses? I have Sanctuary Hills Debris Removal and Repair along with Paint That House. They work great together as well as with your mods.

      You're welcome for the images.

I wish that mod author didn't mess with the landscape, otherwise I would check it out. I was born and raised about 30 miles north of where Sanctuary would be in real life, and I enjoy turning Fallout 4 into rural New England with trees and forests. His mod would remove those from my little piece of serenity

How cool that you know that area so well! I hear you on the landscape. I love the houses and that they don't look too new but are cleaned up with good walls (and now roofs thanks to you) but do miss the flora around Sanctuary. I thought about placing my own trees and bushes but it might not look as good. Do you use any house mods in Sanctuary besides your own?

I have Cabin in The Woods, Rebuild, Snap n build, Paint That House, and others. If you don't have Paint That House, you should check it out. I have just been too busy making mods these days to actually play the game

Sorry, just saw your reply. I have Paint That House but don't have Rebuild or Cabin in the Woods. I will have to check those out, thanks!
